Vote for Cologne or Edinburgh

Last August, Tanki Online took part in Gamescom, one of the largest gaming expos in the world. We celebrated this important milestone with you in many ways, including a special map called ‘Cologne’. The arena was only available for 4 days at the time. But now, we’ve given it an overhaul in gameplay and looks, and we’ve put it back in the game!

 

Cologne has a sister arena called Edinburgh, which you’re all familiar with. The two are quite similar.

 

Today, we’d like you to tell us which of the two maps you like the most. Enter Tanki, have a few sessions with your mates on both maps, compare them, and then cast your vote! We would appreciate if you could also provide a more detailed answer, explaining your choice in the comments below.

why cant we just keep both there both good and some people have diffrent outlooks.

They're too similar. For the same reason "twin" maps like Silence I and II, Fort Knox I, II and III were merged into one or deleted...

Cologne is more diverse, and, in my opinion, the better map. But, I would change it a little. Maybe allow tanks to go on the opposite side of the perimeter buildings (and making the pathways in-between them larger and the buildings themselves smaller)? I think that would make game play very interesting and make Cologne a very special map.

The name is that just to attract more players. You can see other maps named like "10k golds come here!"

 

Youre the only one talking about golds in this topic. Everyone knows theyre regular when theres no event going on. Calm down.

Theyre not talking about it theyre just sharing theyr memories. Nobody else besides you thinks there will be 2k golds in cologne. Take better teaching courses.

...no i am implying that people checked out the map before due to 2k golds while Edinburgh no one is checking out...it is like known vs unknown...i bet if u surveyed people who voted for Cologne....50% of them at least didn't check Edinburgh or play on it more than 5 times

But golds were the same in every map when the event was on...

well when these types of events happen it is a little more bias since they think only the special map has the gold so they only that more, instead of the normal maps..plus usually the special map goes away

No. I just think that extending the map past the building will make game play more interesting. I'm sure the developers can come up with a way to make the map fair to all players/turrets/styles of play, while making these changes.

First time I played Cologne since it's back.

 

Why this is so laggy? I mean, I have 55-60 FPS in any map. And only 25-35 in Cologne? It was perfect during Gamescom. No lags.

 

Edit : I got 10 FPS for 1-2 seconds. Delete some ueselss house, I don't know. Make it like Skyscrapers.
