Bulldog, Pitbull and Hammer sound like M 1 set names. Shotgun is obvious, and Magnum is a different kind of gun.

I don't know why so many people want magnum and shotgun! really c'mon. Bulldog is the best, Magnum is to non-futuristic, and shotgun is to, well, boring really, and it is a term that you can hear more often in regular life than say, isida or shaft.

Here's my opinion on the name options:

"Bulldog" sounds alright, but it's not my favorite.

"Hammer" sounds alright, and it fits the feel of the weapon. I vote for this one.

"Pitbull" also sounds alright, but again, not my favorite.

I don't like "Doom". Very generic, and maybe a bit cliche.

"Magnum" is a name more fit for a revolver. I don't really like it, considering the weapon is a shotgun.

"Shotgun" is very generic, but it at least describes the weapon well.

To be honest, it's not that magnum is expensive it's that other ice creams from 'walls' etc are much cheaper.
