Ricochet gains power on richochets

Do others notice this ? Ricochet seems to inflict more damage on shots that ricochet one or more times, and the more bounces the more power.

 

It may just be me , but I used richo because i like trying for really interesting,obtuse shots, and those shots seems to do more damage at times than straight shots at the same target.

it doesn't, sometimes i make it bounce loads of times when there are no enemies, and sometimes it hits me, i'd SD instantly if it gained power each bounce

This might have something to do with it. The game really can't figure out true range when a shot goes bouncing several times , so it may default to something.( range =0)

 

Note: I suppose in the first post, I should have said this effect is not always there, but it pops up rather often , IMO.

if this was it, wouldn't the shots go on infinitely long as long as there's a wall?

My wording was not accurate in describing what might be occasionally occuring. I may  find some empty maps and try to figure this out or at least duplicate effects. Might be impossible since it may rely on alot players and server lag, but I will try.

If that's true, it's not a good thing...

 

Damage should instead decrease for every rebounce of the plasma balls... It makes logical sense doesn't it?

This would be an interesting feature, but at the moment it's not in the game. Ricochets have absolutely no effect on the shot, other than changing its direction.
