No offence over the winners,  they sure deserved it but how many of people were in Jury to decide ? on what basis was it decided ? originality was one of the basis of judgement and I think that if someone drew that by hand he putted in far much more effort than mostly good looking graphical software ones . 

 

They look nicer even with little effort . We are supposed to care for every word we speak , 

The contest post could have mentioned that only a few will get full prize because its really a shame if someone spent 10 hours on a card and then he gets 5k or nothing . 
 

Graphics Software takes 1 hour maximum and you give them full prize .

trying doing " A player's choice " thingy so you get more variety of people's choice and not just yours . 

 

Many had better entries but ok ... you the devs you win 

 

And for what you did all i think there is left to say is 

 

YOU DON'T APPRECIATE US . ! So you shouldn't be player's choice game or anything near it .!!! and that one came from the heart ok !!!

The common misconception is, making artworks on computers takes less time and effort than hand drawn artworks. But actually it takes just about the same amount of effort and time to achieve the same quality as a good hand drawn artwork. This is especially true for 3d artworks, which can take hours to render.

Most of the winners are just pics taken from google , u put a stupid tank on it and write happy new year and there you get all the fame and crystals with the paint like you broke down a mountain .

 

And if u go market , buy markers, buy equipment, search ideas then try to actually use your skills , your hands your time your equipment for the happiness of others and not just for crystals you don't even deserve consolation prize . Accept it , the winning entries might look good but they certainly aren't that original . 

And next time tell everyone to just try using graphical softwares , because you can't draw anything more perfect than the softwares you built for them .

They do appreciate the work, but in the contest briefing, it clearly states that you have the choice to put in effort on a hand drawn piece or a graphic software designed piece. Its a contest of design not effort. I some what agree tho.
