A few tactical questions

I've got several accounts the highest being a 1st Lt and use a range of different turrets and hulls but I have some questions that I have not been able to find on a search and a couple more that I just thought of to see if someone knows.

1. It seems like a team mate freeze can cool you off after a firebird attack, but I've seen no mention of this in the wiki.  Does this indeed work?  If so, I wonder if the new machine gun which will overheat will also be helped by a team freeze, making a new pair relationship of turrents.

2. Is the thunder the turret of choice for drugging?  I notice a lot more from that turret and think it has to do with its high power and faster reload time than the railgun and if you're already drugging a little self damage doesn't matter.

3. I often play isida but hate always staying in defense.  I usually pick a viking/rico or smoky to follow and heal after the flag because they are easier to follow.  Railguns often make wild movement's back and forth to hide between shots, thunders rock back and forth which I can get used to but they often take too much damage to keep up with, and hornets can be one shot making it pointless for healing.   What are other preferred rush teams?

1. Ye. A machine gun with a freeze cooling it off would be too OP imo but would be a cool tactic if they keep the cooling effect in check.

2. Thunder is a good turret for drugging if you are at a distance from your enemies only. The self damage while drugging can be too much otherwise. A tuuret with a faster reload like smoky is generally recommended.

3.You can knock off railguns and even thunders with smoky. If using a short ranged turret it's better to take another route where nobody is camping and surprise the campers from behind.
