Additional Prize for First Place

In the shadow of Double Funds, normal funds are underwhelming. In some cases, it isn't worth it to fight, because the potential reward is so low. Also, with a new turret added, and another turret and new paints on the way, there is more stuff to spend crystals on then ever. So here is my suggestion: If you are in 1st place at the end of a battle, either in DM or on your team, you will get an additional crystal prize, separate from the battle fund.

 

This idea will greatly increase gameplay, as tankers will fight hard to get that prize, and the battles will be more interesting. If the battles are more interesting, then more people play the game more. If more people play more, than more people buy more. Therefore, refuting any economical/business arguments one might have towards this idea.

DM

  • Player at the top of the scoreboard will receive a reward based on the length of the battle. 15 minutes = 1000 crystals, 30 minutes = 2000 crystals, and 60 minutes = 4000 crystals. This way, there will be no advantage to playing longer battles, as each 15 minutes = 1000 crystals.
  • PRO - Same method remains for timed battles. For kill limit, it will be like this: -50 Kills = 1000 crystals, -75 kills = 1500 crystals, -100 kills = 2000 crystals, etc. 500 crystals for 25 kills.

TDM

  • Top scorers on both teams will be rewarded. This will increase losing team's activity and devotion.
  • Winning Team 1st Place - 15 minutes = 1000 crystals, 30 minutes = 2000 crystals, 60 minutes = 4000 crystals
  • Losing Team 1st Place - 15 minutes = 750 crystals, 30 minutes = 1500 crystals, 60 minutes = 3000 crystals.
  • PRO - Refer to DM. Both teams' winners will get equal reward.

CTF

  • Top scorers on both teams will be rewarded. This will increase losing team's activity and devotion.
  • Winning Team 1st Place - 15 minutes = 1250 crystals, 30 minutes = 2500 crystals, 60 minutes = 5000 crystals
  • Losing Team 1st Place - 15 minutes = 1000 crystals, 30 minutes = 2000 crystals, 60 minutes = 4000 crystals
  • PRO - Same method remains for times battles. For flag limit, it will be like this: -10 flags = 1000 crystals, -20 flags = 2000 crystals, -30 flags, = 3000 crystals, -40 flags = 4000 crystals, and etc. 1000 crystals for each tens of flags. Both teams' winners will get equal reward.

  • Top scorers on both teams will be rewarded. This will increase losing team's activity and devotion.

Details:

  • When two players tie for first place, the Prize will be split evenly between the two players.
  • When a player scores with 10 points or 2 kills(DM) of the winner, the player(s) will receive 25% of the reward.

    It will only work when there are 4 or more members per team or 8 or more members in the DM.

This would be a nice feature. But then again on what XXgamercool_TURBO said there would be a few exploits tanki staff would half to work at and improve. But good idea not just cause the fact we are getting more crystals, But because the fact that people will work harder toward winning and people will play more.

Perhaps the fund should be a certain size before this is implemented...

Good for me,because a few drugs with my thunder m2 and I'm always at the top.BTW the prize should also depend on the number of players

Great suggestion. Hope Tanki can approve this suggestion as I only get like 200-300 crystals mostly. So, unless you score a 1000, you won't get a decent amount of crystals. So, that's why, I love this idea. +1 goes to this topic for me. :)

It WOULD be a very good idea, but for a MAJOR DRAWBACK: top scorer being sabotaged by teammates. All this ending to ruining the game.

Nice idea, but many players have mults, and this completely ruins the idea. :(

Additionally, players with tons of friends would just power rank in the form of getting crystals.

I think a better solution would be to have a kind of fund multiplier for winners. Such as a 1.5x for 1st place, a 1.3x for 2nd place and a 1.1x for 3rd place. For example in a battle where you normally would have gotten 500 crystals, now thanks to the multiplier you will get a cool 750 crystals if you got in first place! In bigger battles that would really add up.

 

And it would prevent a bunch of friends trying to exploit the system that trombone_ftw proposed, since it's not a set number of crystals.
