Bush annialated the 9th largest military in the world in 3 days, + 6 if you want to count the additional destruction of stragler units still loyal to Saddam. 

 

So, get a Lewinsky or destroy Saddam Hussien's military and invade his country?

What is Texas?

The largest state in the coterminous union and the second largest state of them all.  Texas in located centrally in the US, on the south, sharing a border with Mexico.  Texas is big, Texans have big egos, Texans like big, do things big, and they pretty much holds, "You you ain't from Texas, you wrong."

 

Point is, Texas is a state in the union that has been it's own nation, and while there is some debate about the legality of the constitution of the state, in theory, it is the only state in the union that can legally sucede from the United States by vote of the State Congress.  Most people here are Texans first, then Americans, though that said, Amercians never the less, that till America stops believing in what Texans believe so to speak.  For instance, it's the only state in the union where you are still allowed to protect your private property with deadly force.  If someone comes onto my property, I can shoot them dead, no questions asked.  Repo men don't like working in Texas ;).  Texas is one of the largest economies in the wrold, and it is larger than France in terms of geographic area.  Again, BIG.  We have our own oil, agriculture, and coast line.  It is one of the few states that COULD IN THEORY survive outside the union with little or no trouble.  We pride ourselves on that.  In fact, 1 in 12 Americans ARE TEXANS, that's how populace Texas is.  And while I don't know if it has overtaken Mexico City yet, which has held first place for decades,  the Dallas/Ft Worth Metroplex, which in technical terms means incorporated municipalities within a county (Dallas and Fort Worth represent two counties, Dallas and Tarrant counties respectively) is the second largest land locked metropolitan area in the world, and I'm sure it must have over taken Mexico city now in terms of landmass, though population is still questionable, I don't know the answer to that.

 

There is of course a lot more to Texas than that, but if you're ever state side son of how ever you spell all that out, drop by and visit.

So . . .

since I dropped in here and sad something for Valentines, figured maybe a new song to the list might be nice.  Trouble is Southern Rock is a bit hard to come by, even southern inspired rock.  So I have some other things to listen to also, and today I'm adding a song that's really a drinking song, but for now I'll put it on a new list I'll call "Other Things To Listen To While Playing".
