Dedicated Battle Mode Servers?

A recent discussion has highlighted that some people, including me, have trouble finding an appropriate CP game (that isn't Polygon or Arena!).  I really do spend more time trying to find games than playing in them.

 

Things get a bit better at peak times in the evening, weekends and holidays, but during the day and late evening I find myself trawling all the servers in search of a game, sometimes just giving up and doing something else instead.

 

Would it be possible to have a dedicated CP server that has CP in the title, e.g. EN1(CP), RU1(CP), etc.?

 

Battles of other modes would not be able to be created in those servers, and everyone who prefers CP games would know to go straight there, and not be wasting so much time just trawling through the other servers.

 

Maybe do the same for TDM?

 

You would still be able to create any battle mode in all the other servers if you wanted to.

 

Just a thought...

Not a bad idea, but the CTF servers would be too overloaded, causing the others to be mostly empty most of the time.

Sounds simple doesn't it? Except that there are not enough people around on any one server who want to join in the games created.  It doesn't seem to be as popular as CTF.

 

CP gamers seem to be spread quite thinly over many servers (except at peak times). If they all went to the same server(s), then hopefully there would be more chance of getting people to join any games created perhaps?

RU1 is popular for CP but you'll have top play with higher ranks but u can earn more crys if u do that

Yea, dedicated Gamemode servers wouldn't be so bad! It would be way easier to find a XP CP :P

& most of those battles are pro battles so u can play in those where supplies are off or EN1 is good too
