Tanki Online is growing very quickly. I think It could use some ads.

 

I was thinking, maybe tankers should be allowed to watch video ads, and earn some crystals and/or supplies. Different circumstances would determine whether the ad-watcher would earn crystals, supplies, or both. In some circumstances, maybe the ad-watcher could even earn a pass (???).

 

Simple:

 

Ads are put onto famous sites.

Tanki is famous.

Ads are put onto Tanki.

Players watch ads for crystals and supplies.

Players like getting crystals and supplies.

Companies like that their ads are being watched.

Companies pay Tanki.

The devs use the money to make Tanki even better.

The devs like that they're being paid by companies, and that Tanki's growing.

Everyone's happy.

 

Just a thought... Idk if anybody's suggested this before.

Interesting idea to have McDonald's flashing by while I'm loading Tanki.....

 

Oh, and why did I forget Apple? Of course they would love to flash their latest device at you. :P

 

But to watch the ads for crystals, supplies ad passes? Just a little too much if you ask me...

Even if it was a small one, it would add up VERY quickly. (Especially if the players logged out and in constantly.)

 

Besides, we already get daily bonuses.

The rewards wouldn't add up very quickly at all. And you wouldn't get a chance to watch ads every time you log in and such, they'd just pop up randomly (not during a battle of course); about as often as Gold Boxes drop. Also, you wouldn't have to watch them if you didn't want to.

 

Btw, daily bonuses only reward the players; they don't reward the devs. ;)

wouldnt it be better if TO was advertised over the web i mean when i try to watch a movie online i see a lot of ads 

however TO could charge heavily from those companies if they're going to advertise their products & services in the game

Tanki Online already has advertisements (according to AdBlock your personal banner is an advertisement).

 

Anyways, to get back on topic, I don't really see why. Sure, it might be an investment for Tanki Online, they would get advertisements on their page and we would get crystals and/or supplies, but is it really necessary (it might be, to be honest. By killing the old kits I think Tanki Online lost a lot of income, oh well)?

 

And, also, to all you complainers:

 

I agree and I disagree with you at the same time.

 

It would kind of ruin the game however if Tanki Online does implement this into the game. If they do, they should make the rewards for looking at the advertisements something around 10-40 crystals (depending on your rank). It should also not be necessary to watch these advertisements, only if you actually want yo.
