Invite All

The idea is simple: An "Invite All" button of the friends list. This would be helpful for starting new battles, etc. Shouldn't be too hard to implement, and why not?

 

Thoughts? Suggestions? Thanks :)

People would use it to spam. Continuously clicking invite all would annoy everyone in that person's friend lists.

Yes, I've known people in my friends list that would just spam the invite button, having this would just compound the problem.

Unlikely that (1) there would be that many spots open, (2) there would be that many players willing to join at once, (3) that they all have compatible ranks to play. (all of them at once.)

Well, you can just delete people, who spam you with invites. This seems like a good idea actually...

Yeah, I only have a few trusted friends that won't do that, but other players get 5-10 friends per day depending on how long they play, so yeah....deleting friends would help them realize that spamming is not beneficial.

Invites do not send if they are currently responding to another invite that you have sent, you know.

But I still think that "Invite All" isn't very practical, especially because the servers would overload 'cause of all the friend invites.

You don't HAVE to use it! It's just another option, useful for kickstarting battles. Maybe their could be a checkmark system, like in an email inbox? With a "check all" option?

Checkmarks might be nice, but rarely used.

Kickstarting battles is easy, just post it in chat.

Right, so maybe you're only able to Invite All when you are the only one in the battle? That would cut down on spam.
