You look at me, and I, at you.

You are the one, clear through and through.

But what do I mean, and how do I know?

Well, you’re giving me a little show.

I can see you, you see

And yes, you are now listening to me.

As your eyes stutter downward to read me,

I am left to search you, freely.

The way you sit and the countenance of your face,

Give me very good clues of you who occupy this space.

Your grooming and clothes make it quite clear,

What type of fate you are trying to steer.

But, no offense, there’s more to you than you,

Take a look around, and you’ll see my view.

Whether your house is fine or discordant,

I can tell what you and your living mates find important.

And this whole time, I've been coaxing you down,

And oh! What have you found?

The answer is nothing,

And isn’t that something?

It isn’t, so let your happiness drop,

And yes, I see your eyes do not want to stop.

You keep on going, trying to reach my end,

That is a very nice thought, my friend.

You think it ends here, when you click me away;

Who knew you people were so easy to sway!

I will be here, and tomorrow, too,

You know I can wait for you.

I will not tire, nor become bored,

For I am far mightier than the sword.

You read me, and that is true,

But think about it, and know I read you.

i used in the first sense, and i felt like his eyes were following me throughout.

 

eerie is mostly used, as far as i know, in describing something related to supernatural sensations.

and a new Mercedes-Benz,
plus a brand new Lamborghini
I could show off to my friends.

I purchased a Ferrari
and an Aston Martin too,
and a Porsche and a Jaguar
and a BMW.

I had them all delivered
to my mansion in the hills.
I like to sit and look at them,
imagining the thrills.

For though it's fun to be
the richest nine-year-old alive,
I'm sure I'll like it better
when I'm old enough to drive.
