Tanki ask us for feebback, but the power happy mods block them

Tanki Online always asks for feebback, and I always do, and the mods in here always close my posts saying that posts about previous versions are not accepted, this is ridiculous, the creators of the game ask to give comments, and the people on here block them, make your mind up, if you make an update, the feedback consists in saying wether you like it or liked the previous version, or if you would like something to be changed, as players we should be allowed to share our thoughts about anything tanki related, the rules of the forum state that you can't use foul language, not that you can't share your thoughts, I will keep sharing my thoughts, you blocking them just makes you look ridiculous.

I do, it's just that people on here have no respect for players, they think just because they are mods they can do anything, so many times people have blocked me not for being wrong, but just to be spiteful, and this isn't right, just like us players get moderated, you mods should get punished for doing wrong, but every time I report a moderator, for being powercrazy, nothing is done about it

I don't know why you giving your feedback by creating your own topic and in wrong section, you meant to give feedback, you need to give your feedback in developers ssection topic, for example, soon developers will let us test upcoming gun, which is machine gun, so Semyon going to create a topic in developers section and will tell us that the test server is open to test the new upcoming gun, also he will ask you to give the feedback in that topic he have created. Not to create your own topic anywhere in forum and give feedback.

There's ideas and suggestions, and it's where I post my ideas and suggestiosn, any idea or suggestion I make has to be respected, and not removed, doesn't matter what it is, other wise there's no point proving a section for it, if I want to post about shaft laser, noone should block it, because it's ideas and suggestions, and if I suggest that the laser should be removed, that suggestion should stay open, for people to share their thoughts, but you people block it and say, suggestions for previous versions are not accpeted, which brings the whole point back to, why make a sections called ideas and suggestions if I can't suggest to remove the laser, this is just an example, there's many more things, the reality is that there's rules that you mods don't respect, you act on things with personal choice, and this isn't right, if you're a moderator your job is to moderate, not close topics because you don't like the idea. When Tanki Online introduces new updates, they're always announced in Developer's News. Feedback is to be given in the appropriate, provided topic in which the specific update you want to tell your thoughts about, is announced. So you're allowed to share your thoughts as long as you share them in the appropriate section.

As you know, you must post your Ideas & Suggestions here. We're obliged to close your topics regarding ideas about changes to the actual Tanki Online to its previous versions, since it's prohibited according to the Ideas & Suggestions Section Rules. All the ideas posted in 'Ideas & Suggestions' are respected, but these ideas must also respect the section rules. All ideas that don't violate the rules will remain open, even though we, Forum Moderators, don't like them. Developers will take care of them.

If you have complaints about Forum Moderators, you must contact @Yele, the Forum Administrator.

Your feedback is MOST welcomed to us. We're always up here reviewing such comments and matching them by the restrictions and regulations. Normally, at the time of a new update/pre-implement, players are given a lot of time to send us their feedback. Share their thoughts on how you dislike it, what makes you feel like it should be a great update and what are your thoughts on new edits/improvements we can do to make the update be more versatile, useful and most importantly a satisfying update/implement.

The thing is that all of us should take part in giving feedback in the topic(there is always one for an update) and express our thoughts thoroughly and in-detail. Mostly in those days, some do not pen down their reviews and then later on request a change in the update.

Of course, we would still look into the matter and set it right with the rules & restrictions. Also, the developers would only look forward for reading a review given about an on-going update. Why? - Because it is at its finishing touches. Our feedback can really make a difference and the devs' would change according to what is appropriate among our given feedback. It is a great thing really, so do take part evenly.

Back to the subject - the forum moderators team is bonded with the rules-to-follow. We are chosen as administration helpers to set things straight, meaning to keep things clean and according to how the rules allow such an act or not.

The section rules have been written by a highly qualified former moderator and administrator. He does have a good connection with the important stuff, obviously, and doesn't do anything without giving the matter a full thought to it. These section rules are most likely to have gone through the ones incharge for such things(creating rules), and they authorize what is correct. False information is always kept away.

We do not close a topic without keeping in mind what our administrator has taught us. Therefore most topics getting locked are normally the ones which have no specific availability to be live on forum or violate a rule(s).

Other than that, feedback can be given about anything. But there doesn't mean that each is put into consideration. Some statements are not given considerable amount of thought because they are somewhat not appropriate to what the developers have planned for the update. However that doesn't mean that we haven't gotten through your statement, we have but do not show importance towards it because for it being inappropriate and not based upon the whole community(means not written as a whole; everyone agrees).

I hope you understand! :)

The rules are currently being reviewed for your satisfaction.

but wait, in the ideas & suggestions section, they don't take our ideas and make them on the game, cuz if they do, they need to write for ex: This idea is accepted, Thank you. or something like that

but we don't even know if they saw our ideas or not -_-

So in a few words, if many people write an idiocy, it's taken into consideration, if one person writes something clever it's completely ignored and blocked, getting back to shaft, which is one of my favourite turrets, I don't agree with the laser, it has completely ruined the turret, so they should give a choice, if you don't like the update you get the crystalls back and turret taken away

If we were to have no respect towards players, we wouldn't be chosen as mods at first. Even if such a behavior is caught, we go through a disciplinary meeting which is endless.

We are players as well really, we are not superior or 'better' than players. We do know how it is to be a normal player and we do operate as a normal player(meaning what we do is just a additional thing, we're basically here to have fun just like you).

The truth of the matter is, that some people get bigheaded when they have a litte power, I understand what you're saying, and I hope you are honest, but not everyone is like you, they take advantage, for example, I asked for help to a game helper, I told that person there was an invisible tank shooting in a game, I gave that person the link to the game but they refused to help me, then a second later someone esle asked for their help because someoen was swearing in a game 5 seconds later that person was banned

if you don't like the update you get the crystalls back and turret taken away

Tanki Online as a company reserves the right to change their product without listening to the customers' (a.k.a. players) advice and without owing them anything. You play this game for free, therefore you don't own any shares in it and you don't have the right for refunds. You have the right to demand it and say that it's wrong, but the developers aren't obliged to repay you anything. Buying crystals for real money doesn't give you any privileges either. You can look at it this way: all the money you invest into the game are a mere "donation" which you give away and the crystals you get for donating are like a "thank you" from the developers.

As for the ideas, the I&S section rules have been formed to allow ideas with potential to be noticed, but those ideas, which have no way of being realised, need to be removed. This includes ideas about refund/sale of items, ideas about reversion to a previous version and other ideas, which will never be implemented. Even if a valid idea gets thousands of upvotes and is really popular with the players, it's still completely up to the developers to decide whether they want to add it or not. And they reserve the right to ignore/remove the idea without explaining any reasons.

don't forget, Tanki Online without us ( all the players ) will not work :)

The thing is that moderators(especially game moderators) have tons and tons of duties they must fulfill already. They do try their best to review each matter but still having way to much reported/voted battles containing voted players is what they go through everyday. To mark a reported battle complete isn't a short process as everything is done with great precision and no misunderstanding solution(s) in mind at all. That does take time.

Imagine doing that to almost 40-50 or maybe more than 60 reports a day! That is a workload.. but we are trying our best.

We have not authorized this topic to discuss other moderators or any moderator/staff member in specific. The topic is regarding how feedback is 'dealt' with, and who deals with it. If you wish not to continue this discussion then do state as so.

So in a few words, if many people write an idiocy, it's taken into consideration, if one person writes something clever it's completely ignored and blocked

Not sure why you got that idea, but this is completely wrong. Idiocy is usually deleted by us as soon as spotted, while good ideas get tons of pages with discussions.

getting back to shaft, which is one of my favourite turrets, I don't agree with the laser, it has completely ruined the turret, so they should give a choice, if you don't like the update you get the crystalls back and turret taken away

You shouldn't forget you agreed to the EULA when registering in the game, I've already kind of explained that according to it, refunds are not possible, here, hope things are clear now.

but wait, in the ideas & suggestions section, they don't take our ideas and make them on the game, cuz if they do, they need to write for ex: This idea is accepted, Thank you. or something like that

It's up to the developers if they'll write "planned", "declined" or "thanks" - they do that when they can, one of the game designers that checks our section every day actually does that pretty often, you can check his posts. However, most of the time those people have much more important tasks than staying in the forum for the whole day to write "planned" or not.

but we don't even know if they saw our ideas or not -_-

Well, they do, otherwise, why did they create this section? To take up space? :)

that's why we are obligated to creat a topics on popular places, so the mods can listen to us -_-

You are obliged to break the section rules you agreed to by visiting this section? No, that's not correct. If you want to use the forum and post content, you are obliged to follow its rules. So if you want to post your ideas, you need to post them in the correct place. It's just pointless to post them elsewhere, as we'll move them here anyway, and if you continue doing it wrong, at some point you'll get a ban, sadly.

Also, "mods can listen to us" - we are not the people deciding what idea to accept and what not to accept, so there's no need to call for our attention by posting in the wrong place

there's many more things, the reality is that there's rules that you mods don't respect, you act on things with personal choice, and this isn't right, if you're a moderator your job is to moderate, not close topics because you don't like the idea.

I know this has already been answered, but I'll do it again, in a few words - we do respect the rules, however, if you think we don't, you can complain to the forum admin.

Our job is to moderate, and moderating includes all forum sections, including the Ideas one. We close topics not because we don't like the ideas - this doesn't matter. Idea topics are closed or removed because either they've already been suggested 100 times before, either because we know they won't be implemented (surprise or not, we have a direct contact with the developers and know what's going on with the game).

Anyway, things kinda got offtopic. The original question was "why players can't post ideas that suggest to remove things that have already been added to the game" - the reasons are two. Firstly, removal of updates is a really rare phenomenon. Secondly, as you all know, once an update comes, a special topic in Developers' news section gets opened to collect feedback and usually stays open for several weeks. There, you can state if you like the update or not and according to that, developers may decide to remove it. But to wait a month or two and then start making topics about removing some update - as I said, such "removal" happens very, very rarely. Which is the reason to have the "don't suggest to roll back updates" phrase in our rules. And as it has been said, those rules have been created by an ex-forum mod, together with the forum admin and the Community manager, and are a copy of the Russian Feedback rules, the same rule exists there too, difference is that they aren't complaining about it.

In conclusion, we'll look into this rule point and if the people responsible agree that it should be removed, it will be removed and you'll be able to see this change in the section rules topic in a few days. If it doesn't get approved, it will stay as it is.
