[F&F] Fight & Flight

Recommended Posts

Hello again, tankers! Fight and Flight is back with another montage, this time it is an exciting collaboration, with Fly To High and Flyers of the Future! In this montage, we restricted ourselves to using only Smoky and Thunder, but we were able to find quite a few strong ways on how to use these turrets effectively. Enjoy the montage!

You probably won't like what I have to say, but I'll say it anyway. When I heard that FnF lost the paint, my first reaction was "they're gonna close the club". I came to say that if the club will close then it's a good thing, because if you don't enjoy doing what you do and only a paint keeps you doing it, then you are better off not doing it. Don't be sad that you lost the paint, be happy that you are done with it and free to do better things with your time ? (yea I know no one will actually stop being sad just because I say "don't be sad", but I'm sure that looking back at it after some time you'll agree with me)

Good luck in whatever you'll do next, I hope you'll enjoy it more than you enjoyed parkouring!

You say the right things, because parkour should be done if you like to do it, not when someone or something makes you do it. Paint is still just pixels and written code that can be removed at any second. But the emotions and memories of the game and parkour will remain forever.

I admire you, you have inspired many people to do parkour, and if it wasn't for you, parkour would be dead.
All the best things in your life!

I guess with the news of FnF closing, I should offer a few words of my personal opinion...

Throughout a large majority of my time in this game, Fight and Flight has been recognized as one of the most creative parkour clubs, and I always aspired to be a part of it. I remember my first time meeting with SwiftSmoky, back when I was a sort of "clueless noob" in the parkour field, and even with my low level of parkour intelligence, he somehow was able to teach me what I had to do for a couple of tricks. That's what shifted my mentality from just dreaming to be a part of FnF, to actually becoming a part of FnF.

Moving forward from that one time, I started growing as a parkourist, I met some other very well-known parkourists (Krutik_love, Parzival, etc.), I joined a variety of new clubs, and even created a large number of YouTube videos showcasing my parkour "skills" (if you want to call them that). Within the last 6 months or so, I was able to start becoming a part of FnF, starting by helping them with the creation of their "Smoky/Thunder" montage, then participating in Parkour Survival with a few members of the club, and lastly, participating (and winning) Masters of Parkour 2020 with a full team of FnF members. I remember I finally joined the club officially in the early parts of February, and I was overwhelmed with feelings of joy, but also shock, as I had joined the club I had always wanted to be a part of. Still to this day, I am thankful to Marekos for giving me the opportunity to become a part of the club, and I think it was very beneficial for my growth as a parkourist.

Now, hearing the news that the club is closing, I am very sad, not because I lost the "coveted" Phoenix paint, but because the club that I had always enjoyed watching parkour videos of is closing. I know the closing of the club is for the best, but it is still very sad to hear. I wish all members of the club good luck in whatever they do in the future, and I hope my path crosses with the paths of some of the other FnF members.

With a great deal of sadness, I must say "Farewell," and move on...

Well Bye FnF, it was nice being here. Not gonna bother with some massive speech hhhh

Great Job to everyone who has been in and out of FnF, from Leaders to Members etc. You just have to move on and this is the best choice for this club!

I've only checked back on the forum three or four times in the past few months, but every time I come back, I see something that makes me really sad. This is one of them.

As a previous club leader myself, I would like to take the initiative to thank F&F for their contribution to the community. Though Tanki is no longer important to me in any capacity, I was drawn to posting again because of how significant I consider F&F to be in Tanki's parkour community. Because I was the leader of the Machines of Flight -- I know, we never really took off, even though I believe our potential was incredible -- I was in contact with many of the smaller clubs and many aspiring parkourists. When I spoke with other clubs, they would mention how their goal was to become as great and creative as F&F; when I joined a random parkour battle, oftentimes random people would be talking about trying to replicate F&F's tricks. Many of the parkourists within my club and in other clubs looked up to me as a creative mind and a strong leader, but none of that inspiration would have existed without the prior example provided by F&F.

F&F has made its mark in Tanki's history. That in and of itself is quite a feat. But more importantly, it has helped many people grow and mature in their character and personality. Thank you, F&F.

Hello everyone, I am here to announce that I am thinking to leave Tanki Online, so F&F as well. I joined this club a year ago (Thanks, Swift ^_^ ), my experience has been great, but all good things have to end. I am really proud of this club and for how far it went in just a year. I want to thank every past and future members for their contribution to this amazing project.

As you might know, we worked on a project on the Rio map but it got canceled, after having pretty much everything recorded. I got discouraged, to continue with this game after this failure, we worked for so long (several months), so hard, to see something canceled like this is just heartbreaking. Thus, I decided to move on, to something else.

My journey ends here, best of luck for the remaining parkourists!

Ps: Thanks @emrakul for all the support and all the good time that we had. ^_^ (I am coming back for this year's MOP  Ps2: I will still help this club when they need me, but won't be as active as before.

Ps3 Updated on the 16/04/2018: I don't think anyone who read the original post will ever read this, but when I left I was so sad, that I've forgotten to mention some names.

But it has been an amazing journey here, thanks to: @darrrex who is an amazing leader, @SwiftSmoky, @Marekos1111, @MOR4RL3, @govenier, @emrakul, @So, @SkIlL-PaVlIToS, @Krutik_love, and @BlazingShot. Love you all.

Well, it seems that everything ends here. I am quoting the post where I left, and I couldn't imagine that it was such a long time ago.
I had a really enjoyable memory with this team, thank you all for having me here. I started as a member and became a spectator for the team, this was one of my proudest achievements for me where I was able to parkour with such amazing players. We would do that for endless hours until the next morning, repeating the same moves but being with everyone brought joy to my life.

My biggest failure was to not able to achieve the first place in MOP with the team, we came so close but it was also so far.

Thanks, everyone for this incredible journey

Well idk if im supposed to write or not but you guys gave endless memories to parkour in Tanki. After your Novel Montage tanki parkour started and reached its peak, all becuase of you. I know many people leaving their club trying to join FnF because of a crazy guy @SwiftSmoky. I still remember the words "Do you guys dream of these tricks?" in a MOP contest.

Sadly @SwiftSmoky did everything to make tanki parkour reach another level but tanki didn't quite wanted to do it. I still sometimes (once a month) open up this YouTube channel and remember myself copying these tricks along with my club (FJ).

But if Tanki closes it must make sure to thank this club which made other people start their club by watching FnF tricks and videos.

?

Spoiler

btw ill still remmeber this iconic pic that Swift took for me

Thanks for making parkour videos for the past 4 years! You guys evolved parkour and the parkour community a lot!

But sadly, everything comes to an end.
