keyboard not working

my keyboard on my pc isn't working any help? i used on screen keyboard to write this

Is it a lap top or a desk top?

If it is a lap top, I would suggest restarting the computer. This problem happens to my laptop frequently, when I restart it, it fixes itself.

If it is a desk top, unplug the keyboard then plug it in again. If it still doesn't work, check to see if it has batteries, or if the batteries are charged. If it has charged batteries, the keyboard may be broken.
