I really don't see the point of this topic, since the administration decides who is "qualified" and who isn't. The community's opinion has little or absolutely no affect on a players chances of making it to staff, I can guarantee that.

I wish I had good reason to join staff, but every time I consider applying, the same thing goes through my head.

No matter how hard I try, I will never make a valuable difference to the game, and all I would be doing is grinding  away at a losing battle  , very much like the soldiers on the front line in the Vietnam war.

A couple of weeks ago, my alt. account was hacked and banned for life for scam, but I contacted the staff and got the ban removed. Does this take away any chance I have of becoming a staff member in the future?

It won't affect anything, if your ban was given mistakenly or it was an hacker who got you banned))

@williew would be a good choice IMO :) I know he already is a Mod but I think he would do great as a chat moderator as well.

 

I would like to become a Mod one day too, I have plenty of experience (I play actively since end 2010) and my karma is clean. I speak and write decent English and German, with a little bit of French and Spanish knowledge :P Dutch is my mother tongue so I can speak and write it fluently. The problem is that this account is not old enough yet and not the sufficient rank to apply.
