The concept of paints has always bothered me in Tanki,  The notion of these color schemes providing protections is foolish.  They should of had armor packages and then paint jobs.  The idea that I'll play the game festooned in skulls, hearts, and bright colors is insulting to me.  Paint should be used to hide oneself, not show off your armor protection.

 

That said, I DO have my eye on a few that are REAL camo patterns that I MIGHT buy later, when I have the crystals, but for now I buy MU's and mines (I don't categorize mines as drugs, though they are supplies, and I have little issue using them.  Cooldowns and their disappearance upon my death is very balanced in their use and I have no issue with them, though maybe I WOULD propose they should have a payload limit per battle, maybe twenty or something to that effect, but whatever).

Well I see memes sure but the name calling directed at those making an argument is off the scale. Go read it back from page 251 and you'll find over a dozen insults. A meme is polite retaliation to those insults and if you're offended by them well I'm lost for words.

Well stop arguing then! His pictures proved nothing. His point could have been made by saying he came across players 3 players that used under 1, 2 and 3 supplies per minute respectively. That would have been the point made but no, he felt the need to name and shame and even provide links to profiles.

 

I've taken part in this recent discussion providing incite, solutions etc, which is more than you have. All you've done is provoke. Stop it. If you have nothing to contribute then try keeping quiet because I just think you like whining for whining sake.

 

Please provide evidence of "following around". If 2 battles constitute bullying, one of which was on the same side then you're really being haplessly pathetic. Rusty used the words, "most battles", if I recall when stating he was being followed. Even he is stretching it saying he's going to take legal action. You're all living in cloud cuckoo land, all of you.

Tanki would not loose its income if players that prefer not to drug use the facilities already open to them.  That is buying a 31 day Pro Pass 5,000 crystals or a 90 day Premium Account 28 Euros or 30 day 10 Euros or 7 day 3 Euros or 1 day 1 Euros.

 

The attempt to limit, reduce or modify use of supplies is a way of negating playing power of those who pay without having to pay any real money themselves.  They want a free game, do not want to pay real money and have no disadvantage.  Supply use has already been modified and reduced.  It was once possible to have continual use of any drug t any time.  Their is no reason for further complex modification.  People need to put hands into pockets and pay up if they want to be competitive with those who pay.  That or use 5,000 of easily earned crystals for a pass.  It is quite simple rely.

A good point on the negating power of buyers (this is partly the reason for this whole argument).

 

Lets take a different scenario then.

What if drugs were ONLY available in 'pro' rooms?

But in these pro rooms you got an increased amount of XP and crystals.

So normal rooms were drops only (or potentially limited supplies).

Free players could play happily in these but would not progress through the game as quickly.

If you wanted to progress quicker you get a pro pass.

This would mean that buyers would progress quicker and they would still have the advantage over non buyers who wanted to progress quicker so took their chance in pro rooms.

This would still generate income for TO from people who wanted to progress quicker and would retain the buyers advantage over non buying players taking a chance.

Also don't forget that buyers will potentially gain access to kits sooner so will also still have this advantage?

Why not just leave thing as they are, it is perfect as it is.  Their are facilities available for those not wanting to buy supplies/drugs or do Parker for that matter.  This whole thing is about not paying anything and yet still being competitive with those who do.  They want all crystals to go on the equipment of their choice.
