A set of problems and ideas

Since teams come out of alignment during play, instead of closing the game, you

should provide an option for players to change teams or rebalance the number of

players when the battle resets.. I know that may sound absurd but why quit a

game only to start all over again trying to find players?

 

Also, like shaft, I think railgun rays and insidra rays should have the color of

the team they are coming from. There is lot of confusion about whose ray is

hitting whom.

 

As for the maps, I LOVE THE NIGHT maps! I know you went through lots of trouble

setting these up and I know there are maps which are being underutilized. I

think the alphabetical order may cause some users not to consider all the

options. Nonetheless, MORE NIGHT MAPS PLEASE!

 

Please consider breaking up the server downage for the English speaking servers. I am

in the middle of the USA. You go down just when I am hitting

my stride! Perhaps I will try a Russian server and test my luck!

 

Of the boxes, I wish you would reconsider placement. Every time I get shot and

resurrected, the first box I encounter is the maintenance box which is the last

thing I need upon coming back to life. Also, I hope you will bring back SOME of

the crystal boxes. I suggest crystal boxes be strategically placed during the game in

highly dangerous spots, such as the top of a bridge where many tankers would aim

to kill someone.

 

Also, why can’t I purchase a device to upright my tank when it turns over? Also,

if I have to self-destruct, why make it 10 seconds? You should encourage me to

have a strategic advantage to self-destruct early instead of letting someone else kill

me to get points and a score.

 

As for the big maps which cause users issues. I think it might help to reduce

some of the excessive details of the graphics to allow for easy load. I love the big maps but

even with high speed connection and the latest browsers, I still get issues.

 

Hey, maybe add

a half-track somewhere down the line, eh?

Ideas regarding changes to the actual Tanki Online to its previous versions, or ideas regarding the removal of updates are not accepted.-->>Rules. We don't need crystal farmers. This won't help, as most players value victory over fair play. If one team is dominating the other and the losing team leaves, nobody from the winning team will switch sides, since they will then lose their reward for being on the winning team. The only way to go around that is to have a system, which takes this into account and gives you bonus reward for switching sides to play for the losing team. But even then most newbies won't switch sides as they won't know about the bonus reward system.

 

 

Also, like shaft, I think railgun rays and insidra rays should have the color of

If that's the case, then why not make team colour shots for all guns? I think it's better to keep the colour laser one of the unique features of Shaft. You don't really need to know whether an Isida or Railgun is friendly or not because it's easy enough to tell already: it shoots you - it's enemy, it shoots the enemy - it's friendly. Besides, Isisda already has different colour beams for healing and attacking.

Night maps are very rare, so I don't see the point in releasing a new update, which nobody will use.

Crystal boxes aren't coming back in any way, shape or form

The 10 second delay is a penalty for overturning. Aiming to not let your opponent get the kill and score is a very egoistic way of looking at this and it's precisely the reason why the 5 point penalty was added for self-destructing. It's more fair and more polite to accept your defeat in a duel and let the opponent kill you, rather than self-destruct like a coward.
