The objective is simple. You must square the number of the person above you. (This means multiplying the number by itself.)

 

Here is an example:

 

Person1: 2

Person2: 4 (2^2)

Person3: 16 (4^2)

Person4: 256 (16^2)

Person5: 65,536 (256^2)

...and so on...

 

Please, no scientific notation. The full number must be written; it just makes it easier for others to square it.
