Is Tanki A Virus?!

Since I Have Started Playing Tanki I Have Gone Through 3 Computers All Of Them Have Gotten Completley Wrecked!!!!

 

Has This Happened To More People Or Just Me??? ( P.S. Its Not My Computers They Are Good Comps That Should Last Long But They Dont )

Computers get slower as they age. It's not Tanki's fault. The manufacturers of the computer purposely make them cheap so they slow down over time and you have to buy another one after 3-5 years...or so I've heard  :ph34r:

Do you have torrent stuff? then thats the cause of virus. a web browser game doesn't have virus unless you download something. as far as i know,, correct me if i am wrong

First of all, Tanki is NOT a VIRUS. Yes, code_root, I have had these problems.

 

Do you run the game on high graphics? Do you clean your PC? Do you check for viruses before opening a foreign document? Are you sure that the properties displayed by Tanki is in compliance with tour PC?

u should run a disk clean up every month,scan for viruses & make sure u keep your virus guard activated although it may affect your FPS

It has happened to my old laptop. Basically, laptop is not able to handle continuous usage and supporting high graphics. This usually ends up in Graphic card overheating.

Otherwise, the cache files end up taking too much space. The solution for this is to perform a disk clean up and defragmentation every month or two.

No, this never happens to me, I started playing since 2011 on this laptop, the one I'm using right now but I still didn't get any problem, Virus is depends on what you download, maybe you are downloading so many stuffs, that's why your computer slow down also you get lot other problem, never download random software :)

i have a laptop thats around a year old and now is very slow i didnt know what it was i do download stuff for my youtube but that isnt the problem cuz im borrowing a mac book pro ( it has never downloaded anything b4 ) and its becoming slow and over heating and acting strange ever since ive started playing tanki on it!!!

I have been using my Laptop for many years now, and I've spent two years on TO using this Laptop. Yeah, still works. In fact I did not receive any trouble at all while playing TO - nothing got misplaced or anything.

I've been playing Tanki on this barely $200 plastic ASUS for a year now and it's performance is only a tad worse than it was a year ago.

I played Tanki on a laptop for 3 years and nothing broke, (except the keys, wear and tear.) I've now played Tanki on a desktop for a year and its still fast and fine.

 

Go though all the programs on your computer, and delete anything that resembles a virus. It should also have dates so if you download something check if you got something like a virus on that same day.

You probably overload your graphic card. Try turning off some graphic options. If you are using Google Chrome, use another browser, it overloads your graphic card, and enable some of the graphic that your computer doesn't support.
