Get more players involved in the forum

As we all know, the number of forum users compared to the number of players in the game in comparison is very very small, probably the lesser 10%. One thing that the forum contributes to the community as well as to the game is discussion among players and staff members. Discussion can lead to many great things: improvements to the game, getting to know each other, knowing upcoming updates in the game, clans, rules to the game, how to report violators, jobs in the game itself, etc. The opportunities are endless yet the number of those actually involved is rather quite small esp. in the English forum (the Russian forum is huge. You should go check it out sometimes  :ph34r:) 

 

Suggestion: In the past, Tanki has implemented various links at the top of the page when the player is in the actual server (where the garage, battle list, help, friends list is located). Sometime after re-balance, Tanki had a rank-up link where someone could basically buy their way up (with $$$$). Of course, this link/button was temporary and removed from the game after a while. As Tanki grows globally each day, the activeness of players in the forum is key, in my opinion, to the survival and proper growth of the game, esp. as major changes are implemented to the game over the years. 

 

So, a temporary link going directly to the forum next to the garage/friend's list icon could help attract more players to the forum. This could help inform players, esp. lower ranked new players, about the game and allow the Devs to see a bigger pool of opinions, ideas, suggestions, etc.

Yes, a great idea. A new button inside the game (probably before the friends button) which is automatically signing you in.

I agree! A great idea indeed!

There were also banners that come up when you're loading the game or lobby. They were removed for some reason, I hope they make it back to the list of banners. It was what actually made me come across the forum :l

There are probably many more great players in the game that could greatly benefit the community but just aren't aware of the entire scene.......
