Get away with hacking?

Basically, I was playing normally in a polygon cp xp/bp, then gold notification came and i think to myself: 'yay one more gold for my montage', then it starts dropping i wait until the last second then i jump on another tanker and im gonna get it in a second then this :@ stupid hacker comes along and decides to jump and get the gold.. i get angry and go report him with video and this happens: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=249264&hl=

 

 

 

 

The video shows him hacking and his nickname.. what else am i supposed to do to get him banned? carry on taking a video of him? he left straight after..

It definetely isn't lag, you can see those jumps he made..

Yes, I have seen the video and it is hacks, He used fly hacks to get on top of the tank. Watch in slow motion here: http://www.youtubeslow.com/watch?v=_tPLfMlHJaA it shows him hack from 20 seconds onwards.

I know. Ostrica or yele once posted two videos (I don't remember where) showing the same battle. In one of them a wasp was all jumping around like he was using a fly hack. In the other video he was moving perfectly. So you see such jumps are caused due to lag.

To me, this seems like lag. It may be a hack but it is possible to get onto other tanks like that especially when lagging.

Anyway, report in Game Violators. The moderator will decide whether it's lag or a hack. We can't jump to any conclusions.

What I hate is when I see a definite fly hacker (who is flying on top of buildings and stuff) so I open up my recorder, get five seconds of footage, and then the server detects their hacks and kicks them out. I can't report them because I don't have a long enough video, and they will just log back in and keep hacking in other battles.

I have experienced situations like this twice, and when I watched the video in slowmo, it looked like hack (that typical jump...), and both times those players camouflaged it: they were waiting somewhere around, and then they ran to the mass (or one person) of ppl, made that jump/lag...

So:

1. they knew, they can lag on top, and used it

2. camouflaged hack as lag

Not sure what it is, that is the most annoying and making me mad -_-

That is definitely not lag. If it were lag, then he probably would not have even touched the gold. Lag should make him climb on top of people and make his tank/turret turn, not jump or fly over.

Lag is referring to lack of communication between servers and computers. While on his computer, he sees perfectly getting on top of tank and getting gold, lag will cause other players to see that he jumped on top of tank.

I agree that this is hacking, not lag. You can clearly see the sudden 'jumps' of the tank, which is a common sight if you've seen hackers before. Look at the other tanks as the goldbox is dropping; there is no lag in this battle.

Are u noob or what?  so u jump when u lag :mellow:  It is hack u can see it clearly even if it was lag he would not jump oky!!

It's a lag, that happen to me most of time, when i drive and try to block and i will get up of the tank

xD this happened to me, I reported a hacker who was hacking like crazy and I report, no ban... -.-

In this case it is a hack as if it was lag they would directly go onto of the person, as it is a hack they would be creating a jumping movement.

To everyone that is saying he was lagging: he was not.

If he was lagging he wouldn't have took it straight away and you can see how high he went.. He didn't go on any tanks ._.

I don't understand the confusion. In this case the behaviour is indistinguishable from fly hack.
