Extra damage from destroying a tank with your tank right behind theirs.

Recommended Posts

In the game, as you know, there a wide variety of hulls with different attributes. Some faster than others, while others that lack pace have good protection. Now, say I have a Freeze M0(Not actually) and Wasp M0, and an opponent has M0 mammoth with M0 Railgun. I come from behind and start spraying his tank with ice particles. Eventually his tank would blow up, yet there would be no damage. However, in real-life being too close could result in some damage being obtained.

I know this idea is vague and very basic. However, with your critisicm and ideas this could be incorparated into the game... ;)

PS: Please give reasons whether you dislike it or not! Thanks! (Or 'Tanks!')

  • The developers openly admit that they don't care about realism.

In real life, when a tank is destroyed, it does not explode so violently. The shrapnel and shock wave from a destroyed tank would not be sufficient to penetrate an actual tank's armor. (In most cases. Of course if the ammo-rack was taken out, some serious damage could occur.)

You've still not told me what you think of it though

An actually interesting idea. Well, it might spark outrage, judging by the first few comments, among players. IMO the Devs should implement new updates that are in favor of the players more because player resentment seems to be......growing gradually.

This is just going to be a pointless addition that will be annoying in the first few months of being in the game (as players will forget to move out of the way when a tank dies) and it won't even improve the gameplay that much, if at all. There's not enough return for the effort that would be put into developing this, therefore it won't be added.
