You gave me a point because I put my text into a large font and red color. SO, why do you give the option of different fonts, sizes, and colors if you want tankers to use the quote, "standard font and text size."  In all due respect to your fellow tanker, please kindly answer my question. Selection of winners is very problematic. Some of the winning images have no artistic value , no wit , no fun .

 

But the images sent by drinkndrive , PanzerDiv_SS , junkimaster are excellent and should be even more rewarded and praised !!!

 

The others are NOT so good.

 

Warning !!! This picture "decapitation" is morbid, and had to be removed and not rewarded, because reminiscent of the ill events that surround us today in this insane world. !!!!

 

Also , you need to show pictures of other 20  winners competitors. Every serious jury must show all pictures ... example: 5 winners , commended 20 and 30 highranked who were in competition.

 

Tastes differ, everyone knows .

 

But winning work must contains ALL: that is fun, witty, that has a story, artists value.This is not the case with all of the winners we saw.  Original story (if good ) must be in front of processed old idea.

 

Several players and I congratulate the winners that we believe are good !!!!

What we usually see on VLOGs is Semyon, Semyon, Semyon. You can hardly see other developers (they show up mostly when they want to talk about upcoming updates or answer our questions). So I really don't know why you find it so weird to see Semyon's face on every entry. And if you see better, 5/10 winning entries have other faces as well.

 

Agree 100%. 1st prized work is just copy-paste, and little graphite pen, and nothing else !!!

we saw that concept like 1000000 times, no new !!! not original, but judge likes it because he looks good on that picture like never before in his life :)

Second, it is so easy and just NOT original idea (some people think that too). Nothing special here, we saw 1000000 time that someone change a movie flayer -   picture for background (photo, or so), he cuts some tank and pasted it, use a PHOTOGRAPHY again to change a head and paste it all, use Sketch - Graphic Pen for gradient and CHANGE THE TEXT (director..costumes..) NOTHING SPECIAL here. And some kind of rough paper (u can do it with light effects). HE did nothing original. MAN Do something by your self (ART=0) Idea cool but we know it. that is all...

Forum mods have the special privelage to edit posts, it ain't nothing to feel insecure about.

Secondly, why is it a PROBLEM to use the normal font and text? Many players complain that changing it too an abnormally large font and changing the colour reduces readability

I know photoshop well, I know what he used to make it. It might not be an original idea, but he done it nicely and he won. No need of hating because of that. He found his way, you could do too, but you didn't. End of story.

 

I think all winning pictures are fun in their own way. The problem is that everyone have different taste and opinion. Judges who are 20-30 years old can't have the same opinion like players who are 10-15. 

 

I noticed all, don't worry. I just don't think they are better than winning ones. :)

I do graphic design . Preparation of art books , anecdotes and novels for printing . And believe me I've seen thousands of images and vignettes works . Indeed partly agree with one competitor here ... who said that three images can pass , I say more. He said that three pictures satisfy the criteria to win , and reasons  ( but incomplete ) .

You probably never in your life have not participated in any serious jury, you see I am, and I know the rules of judging. Also, I hang out with artists, painters, designers, writers, poets (pictorial and artistic designs are accepted by many authors, and  i ll do next time, i ll be so glad to do it, to be a part of this contest, cause i think it is a great idea !!!) .

I worked graphics solutions for historical books of my city ( it is a serious matter ), and poetry books, and novels...graphic and txt,  and also the biggest nonsense such as CD covers for punk bands.

 

And trust me, you're wrong . Also, tastes are different (agree), but the taste requires experience and hearing. It should not hear the noise, and hear in silence.

1. The first operation is simply not good enough, no message, picture says nothing, closed one-dimensional story. As labels for jars of fresh apples. see smiley here ???? so this is reality.

2.  drinkndrive. work that has a story, witty. The work, which marks a funny event. This image is sure Excellent. The image quality is much better.

3. not bad, but not good enough, but a little better then movie flayer.

4. cool, so cool

5. sick. unimaginative. reminiscent of the failed stupid cartoons. Author is 5 y old???

6. miniature (like the Japanese haiku poetry) includes several elements: the man, fear, ridiculous fear, not many views, but art is thin and it disqualifies that picture. But idea is not fully original,

7. transformers. Cool idea. art is excellent. (If this is independent work that is not copy and paste, then it is GREAT).

It has caught the moment, modeling and posing. and battle. Maybe he could slip and a few words.

9. junkimaster. This is an example of how to connect things, great. GREAT !!!! GAME and GAME.

10. This is something you should think of. This picture is 10000 times better than your first pick. THIS IS THE ORIGINAL IDEA. O R I G I N A L !!!

Picture: Hornet and Farting man is vulgar, but the details of the story is better then your 1st. Funnier, more interesting, and much more related and essential details but the poster for the movie (fart-beans, small pictures of those killed tanks, chat).

But this is not SICK like railgun decapitation.

 

And that is why I would like you to put links of all the images that were in the competition.

This is my opinion. so you finish your story as much as you want.

 

U can to continue to collect easy points from kids here.

but I had to answer the man who thinks that knows something ... aka DarkLord991

He does not know the basic rules: everyone has the right to criticize if he can explain.

 

DarkLord991 has to explain his assertion and opinion, and not to attack those who attack opinion. It is a basic rule of the jury.

He must not even think he has in front of him interviewees 10-15 years old, it is ignorance and inability to defend its position .

 

when the competition is over, attack the decision of the jury  - During the contest, criticizing the works (pictures, poems). 

The jury is criticized by criticizing the image that the jury chose .        This is free lesson - Learn this u will need it.

 

 

Of course I agree , this is fun and should remain fun. And it is still fun.
