Jobs for kids.

It is not simply that. On becoming a staff member, each candidate receives several types of information which is not to be shared among others. Since some players have the thrill of sharing one 'happy' news to everyone unnecessarily, one cannot be too sure to hire.

Besides, FB moderators are not full of adults or high aged members too much. Young players are most certainly accepted by FBI as candidates. And trust me, he knows how to make the right decision when it comes to choosing a candidate.

cool, but he refused me -__- ( my age is 14 years old )

I'm not FB admin, you're asking the wrong person.

ok i'll ask FBI

I don't get the urge which people feel to become a staff member. Doesn't really help you in real life, which matters the most. Sitting in front of and staring at a screen for several hours ain't good for your health as well. The only beneficial staff position is probably reporter as it helps you hone your writing skills.

if it is the reason that u refused the kids for job as chat moderator or forum, so why not FB mod ? FB mod don't care about baning ppl on FB -__-

so why refusing ha ? any good reason plz ?

Actually, we do care about banning our users in any of the TO communication channels, be it forum, chat, social networks or whatever. Also, the Facebook moderator job isn't in any way easier or requiring less responsibility than other positions, so noone should expect to be automatically accepted.

Anyway, all you can do is apply and wait for the results, complaining in advance just won't do anything :)

To the topic author, young players can apply and become reporters (if they meet the requirements, of course), which includes writing articles about the game and the community, managing existing ones, running Newspaper contests and so on. However, "kids", as you say, can't become moderators and this will never change, as this requires great responsibility, ability to make fair decisions, not going on using the rights you have for personal purposes and so on. Another reason was explained by other collagues in the previous pages of this thread. You guys should understand that being a moderator here isn't "banning some noobs on some online game, so why do you have such strict requirements" - deleting users' content, blocking their access to the forum/game (some of those users are paying ones, without which the game can hardly exist) and so on is serious and we can't let everyone do that. Tanki is a company, afterall, which cares about its users, not a hobby where anyone can do anything.

Tanki should create a job where kids can become a helper of tanki. For example: A kid has to be 12 years and older to become a game reporter ( To send reports to tanki. Sending over 200 reports will give you a special paint with no protection.)

I'm a kid, and I've got a job!

The coincidence though: I'm 13, and I'm a Reporter

Maybe, but you have to admit that some jobs are easier then others. (Reporter/Facebook moderator).

Depends on what you mean by "kids". "This will never change"; I don't really like that sentence… Seems like Tanki is not accepting any opinions and solutions, and by that, being arrogant. You just said that Tanki is a company that cares about its users, but you (Tanki) are not accepting any possible solutions to make those users happier. Seems like you just care about that number increasing every day that shows the amount of players, and not about the players themselves --> Quantity but not quality, although I, and probably many other users-, would love Tanki to switch those 2 words.

Tanki has many issues in the game. I've seen multiple hackers in games but I don't have a good PC to record. I just wished I could have gotten them banned or at least got a helper to see what was going on so they can get banned. But sadly, tanki seems like it just wants to increase the hackers. I know theres a Game Vio & a Chat Vio but what if you don't have a Lightshot ( PRTSCREEN ) or a screen recorder? What can you do? What if your a low Wo1 and there're are no mods in the game, what can you do? It's very amazing to think about that.

You have to admit that there's no way you can know what is easy from "outside", usually only half of what we actually do can be seen by all players. This is why every job has its requirements, you may think that deleting players' posts or answering questions is easy, but when there's much other stuff that has to be done, things get complicated.

Depends on what you mean by "kids".

Yeah, it really depends, that's why I put it in quotation marks.

"This will never change"; I don't really like that sentence… Seems like Tanki is not accepting any opinions and solutions, and by that, being arrogant. You just said that Tanki is a company that cares about its users, but you (Tanki) are not accepting any possible solutions to make those users happier.

I believe saying things directly is the right way to inform people. Though it's a very common practice, trying to make the requirements suit yourself instead of trying to suit yourself to the requirements, is not the right way to do things and doesn't lead to anything. It may sound banal, but a big part of everything in the game was actually suggested by players. We also have ideas section, which, if noone cared, wouldn't be created at all to save space.

So back to the sentence you didn't like, in fact it is true that the ages mentioned by the OP can't become moderators, which is why I said it. "I want to be a helper but I'm too young" - as it has already been said, if you want to be a helper, simply help, when you fulfill the requirements, apply for the official position, though this shouldn't be your main goal :)

Seems like you just care about that number increasing every day that shows the amount of players, and not about the players themselves --> Quantity but not quality, although I, and probably many other users-, would love Tanki to switch those 2 words.

Number of players, quality of players? I'd say we can't really choose only quality people to play Tanki, and doing this would be wrong anyway, but choosing quality staff is what we can do, and we do it.

To the OP,

For example: A kid has to be 12 years and older to become a game reporter ( To send reports to tanki. Sending over 200 reports will give you a special paint with no protection.)

You're already able to send reports to Tanki, anyone is able to. However, rewards, paints and so on for that will simply lead to a mass of false reports or players staying here only to stalk and report instead of having fun in the game. Reporting violators is good, but doing it to get a paint or something else isn't right, the main thing is that you're helping the game to move forward :)

I hope this can be accepted because It's a great idea. There are kids who are 15 and 14 years old and has a great education and would love to become a helper of tanki. I would really love this job <3.

As it has already been said, anyone is free to help anywhere and anytime.

Funny they also removed Chat Violators for some time and I was shocked because if a player knows there is no chat mod and no one can report him, he can swear as much as he can and you couldn't even report. You have no idea how bad that update was.

On the other hand, you have a lot of players who would do anything to get someone banned, or players that threaten others which isn't nice, nor it helps to make a better and healthier atmosphere in the game. Every coin has two sides... + that doesn't have anything to do with this topic.

Actually physical state allows not mental.

and end up in accident in most cases. Speed thrills but kills. Thats why its not allowed.

How does the cognitive process of decision making (which applies on roads while driving a car) have anything to do with being a staff member of the game? It's not like he's going to become a community manager or an Admin...
