He's right you know. I know many many 12-14 year olds who are actually MORE mature and more knowledgeable of the game than some 17 or even 20 year olds! If someone is willing to help, the admins should at least give some people a chance and not just discard their application for the age. Plus this could teach people responsibility, which is a serious and important thing to have to succeed in life. 

 

Even if the age is still to remain the same, at least lower it a few years so that some people can have a chance and not wait 2-3 more years, which by the way, is a long time in internet years.

Keeping track of so many helpers is extremly hard, so I doubt this would happen, if you want to help out the game so much then you will do it without any rewards/paints.

Do you want a twelve year old running your country and being cops? Well it applies with the same thing in tanki. There brains are not fully developed and they probably don't even know a lot of stuff, or even experiencing love, making love and the struggles of life and so forth. I don't like this idea.

 

 

And plus most 12 twelve year olds say "admin pls gold" so I don't think they have a clue about Tanki.

The Age is more important because at young age there are some things you are not allowed to see/talk about in staffs job. we staffs have to face lots of violators and most of the time the violators uses dirty words which you are not allowed to know plus hear about it :p . That's why we want you to be at least 18 or over, and it depends on which job you want to join :)

It's not so much the amount of sexually explicit content we see. Sometimes there may be the odd person who does post something of that nature but the moderators remove it as quickly as possible. On Facebook, you guys are really underestimating it. Now I'm a candidate FB mod, I can see it's really hard. Not just banning people but PM answering. We get sooo many PM's each day that it gets daunting sometimes. I thought FB mod would be a walk in the park but hell was I wrong. If anything Forum Mod is far easier in my eyes.

 

All over the internet people will post "that stuff" and at the end of the day, someone's gotta get rid of it, so it's not just in Tanki.

true like u said not just about banning players. mods are renposibble about many things but some kids (like me) can do them and there is many kids play 24/24 hours (just like me) i can be on fb replying to PM's each day and i always on FB.

It's not only about maturity. It's also about experience (something I totally lacked), social skills, understanding of how a community works, etc)

I don't get the urge which people feel to become a staff member. Doesn't really help you in real life, which matters the most. Sitting in front of and staring at a screen for several hours ain't good for your health as well. The only beneficial staff position is probably reporter as it helps you hone your writing skills.

Almost every 10-14 year old plays COD (Call of Duty). If you play that I think seeing a couple of "mature" stuff in the chat is normal and so they can do a pretty good job at moderating and they will be online 24/7 cause they have nothinh good to do in their lives except eat chips, do homework and play video games.It seems like Tanki is getting an extra cookie for the price of one.

Your mom jokes were a fad for a while. Now people are starting to get fed up with them because of how often people use it. Also your jokes were funny when you first joined the club. Then they started getting old because we could not take anything you said seriously.

the thing is that kids these days arent "kids" actually. they spend a lot of time on the net and come up facing expilict content very often, sometimes more than one's expectation.. so i think "dealing with expilict content" should not be a matter really..

Yeah, helping out in a game contributes a lot to the world, doesn't it?. Anyway, sarcasm aside, there are better ways to do it. So many people in the world need real help. Teaching someone how to turn a turret or get their account back isn't solving any real life problem. I find it illogical how they're treated as benefactors of the society.
