Shaft's damage a bit too much

Shafts always kill in 1 shot and from a distance so far away you often never see them. Now they're solving the problem by changing them to do MORE damage.

 

This is just 1 of many problems with Tanki. The solutions for these problems are -.

They put in the laser sight in December for a reason- you'll notice when they're aiming at you.

 

Also, you're complaining about Shaft's damage in sniping mode. The developers increased the damage when firing arcade shots and lowered the recharge time. The max sniping mode damage wasn't touched. You should actually be glad that the update is here- the longer recharge time means that it'll take longer for Shafts to go into sniping mode again.

Shaft kills in one shot, yes, but have you seen it's recharge rate?

 

Also, yes, it's OP at long-range, but that's to balance the fact that it's UP at close-range.

With the new update, have you tried using Freeze behind a Shaft??? :blink:

 

I couldn't move my Shaft an inch fighting those things, and that's saying something.....

Shaft is for killing half of the tankes with one hit, from the other side of the map without any risk.

However, gameplay changes this anyway.

 

So...

 

Shaft is one of the UP gun on low ranks. Especially on your rank...

Snipers are meant to kill in 1 shot. If that wasn't their intended purpose, then Shaft would suck.
