This is ridiculous.

As bad as Floyd's rep is... he's still a better fighter, he has a 63% chance winning.

Manny might be a good offensive fighter, but that doesn't mean anything. Floyd handles aggressive opponents and puts them to shame.

Remember Manny vs Marquez?? Manny got knocked to HOLY HELL.. and we know what Mayweather did to Marquez.

Manny has faults, makes clumsy mistakes sometimes... whilst Floyd is almost perfection, it's rare to see him make a minor mistake. Easily the most technical fighter in his division of ALL time.

Mayweather did nothing and ran for pretty much 3/5ths of the fight, while Pacquiao put up a spectacular display for everyone watching. Though the former was eventually going to win with his tactic, it's still pretty damn cheap and boring.

Do you even pay attention to his technique? Mayweather is one of the most technical fighters in history, if you don't see that, you know nothing about boxing. Just because he throws A LOT less punches than 95% of fighters, every single one of his punches count. That's the thing, being 48-0 and beating everyone throwing significantly less is impressive.

 

He's a defensive fighter, his job isn't to get in the ring and unleash himself like an animal... his mission is to take advantage of the fighters mistakes, countering, and of course dodge like no one else in his division.

 

I get that you might find him a boring fighter, OK, but he doesn't run.

Did you notice how Pac was more semi-offensive this fight? He didn't go all out on May because he knew one wrong move and he'll get knocked out. Pac understood he had to play carefully in order to win, May still won nonetheless.

 

 

As much as you guys hate Mayweather, he's still ATG in his division.

Anybody who watched the fight and is neutral(like my self) knows Mayweather won. Pacquio had the two "good flurries: where he still barely landed any of his punches, but other then that floyd was able to pick and chose his spots. he was in control the whole time. People keep saying how floyed was hugging, but they both did, so its not a fair criticism to him. i mean the numbers dont lie.
