This can happen once a month, where players aren't allowed to play popular maps such as: silence, polygon, noise, shepurnov etc, this will encourage players to play different maps, don't you get bored of the same maps?

I always try to find a unique map every time I join the game. Anyone remember the events where rare golds would drop in a secret map? They should bring them back.

Not allowed on the popular maps? I think that's kind of excessive. Maybe something more like what HaloScorpionV2 said. Rare golds or bigger funds.

There are other, more effective methods which could be introduced to popularise rare maps, but restricting access to common maps is not one of them. People need to be encouraged to play on rare maps, not forced to do it.

I remember when I was a noob; it was so much fun to be introduced to a new map after ranking up. Today, I am seeing the same maps over and over again because players are driven by their greed for crystals from higher battle funds. But I wish there was a more dynamic way for players to join battles on less popular maps. I think there should be a cycle of maps where a certain number of the maps are allowed to be attended by players for a certain period of time to mix it up, so we could avoid boredom and plan new strategies. The game developers may introduce new maps in Unity, but still...maps should be spiced up. And there should definitely be a new, intricate system of maps in the game so that Tanki would be encapsulated as an MMO game of more variety.

How about if you play a different map the funds are higher or bigger golds?

 

And if you don't play on different maps your just missing out...
