What do you do in your math class ?

Hello everybody :)

I want to know what you do in your math class. I know many of you will simply say that they study and this topic is spam, but I don't believe you

I study (rarely ), I doodle and I talk to my friends.

i get a problem and i don't solve the problem because it's a math problem and a math problem does not have to be a problem in my life so that problem is not a real life problem that does not have to be solved

so the main thing i do in math is ether sleep or listen to music and ignore everyone

If you aren’t willing to be actively involved in the process of learning mathematics, both inside and outside of the class room, then you will have trouble passing any math class.  <_<

I'm having 8 hours of maths each week which are separated in 2 different kind of maths. So i actually have 6 hours of 'normal' maths and 2 hours of 'a different kind of maths' that isn't compulsory. It's an extra 2 hours for which a curriculum doesn't exist. I just decided to take those 2 extra hours because I'm really interested in maths.

In the 6 hours of 'normal' maths, I'm learning more about integrals of all kind of functions and space geometry (with direction vectors, support vectors, ...)at the moment.

In the 2 hours of different maths, I'm learning more about functions we don't see in 'normal' maths (sinh(x), cos(h), tan(h), cot(h)) + hyperbole, parabola, ellipse. I recently learned how I need to make programs for my calculator myself. I've seen polar coordinates, another way of placing points in a coordinate system.

My apologizes if some of the mathematical terms are not completely correct. I'm having maths in Dutch.  :P

the only reason i'm in a math class is that i already passed all my 12th grade classes and i'm done with school and this math class is kinda hard and is useless for me as im graduating this Saturday. Math is one hell of a course its hard well some of it.

Since we are doing transformational geometry, I fall off my chair, make rude remarks, get in trouble for them, apologize and try to figure out how I got 100% on a subject that I dislike so much. Then I go around fiddling with my paper to see how rotations would look, making me insane

I study. And focus on instructions. Recently I learnt percentages and taught a friend about them. I'm pretty good at maths, so I do my work quickly and efficiently.

falcosenna1: can you teach me maths? Oh, I'm joking.
