"Error has Occured" repeatedly

I am really tired of this issue. I clear the cache, reset everything you can think of ( I am not unstalling another thing and then reinstalling  again) and I have errored out of the game more than a dozen times in the last hour. I have recorded the complete episode. What's the deal? This is getting rediculous. I use firefox browser because it seems to be the only one that works with mouse controls. If I don't get the error,  I get the blank screen. It makes it diffucult to even attempt to play a 60 minute match because I keep gettting the kicks and brown screen. I have lost so many power ups because of theses error it almost makes the game unplayable. When is this issue going to be dealt with? I have contacted support and they have been unhelpful. I have read all the online forum stuff and none of that has helped.

Maybe that because your computer is old and slow.

Darren, Maybe you should add something constructive or not say anything at all. This computer is not even a year old with an i7 extreme 6 core ( I do not even have to touch any of the overclocking features). I custom build my gaming systems in case you're curious. The Vid card is a GTX780 series. I can play ANY game on max setting WITHOUT a problem. This game constantly brown screens me and gives me "some mystery error has occured".  Pings are steady at 40ms and my FPS is EASILY 60+ solid without variance.

beaku....... thank you for the information. I will have a look at that method. I have found a way when I get the black screen in firefox to stay in the battle without losing my points, but I have to log back in. I will try the stand alone and see what happens.

Well........that did not last long ...now I cannot kill anyone ...but can get killed, I cannot pick up any boxes and the last 3 games have blank screened.....I give up! I am going back to using Firefox and just putting up with the mess.

I have been using standalone for a long time without any issues. Seldom have I experienced no damage problem but after getting destructed, everything returns to normal.

It would be nice if you posted your system info such as processor and operating system. Then there would be some comparative information as to why you are having success. I got kicked again today because of "some mysterious error" and then it made me re-log and I lost all my points from a 30 minute match and I was in first with a battle fund of over 4500 points. A half hour wasted as this happened with under 5 minutes left. This is NOT the first time this has happened. This is why I play only 15 minute battle because I have to CONSTANTLY deal with this problem. NO OTHER game that I play ) and I have more than 30+ on my desktop, this is the only one that has this problem.

I get the blank screen.

Please try to disable your antivirus software and enter the game.
One of the following actions should help you to solve the problem.
2. Clearing Flash player cache

To clear your Flash-Player cache, you need to follow the steps written below:
1. Start loading a server and then right-click with your mouse on the screen. A window will appear. Click "Global Settings"
2. You will see now a new window called "Manage Flash-Player Settings". On it, click "Delete All.."
3. Now, you will see another new window called "Delete all Flash-Player data". On it, click "Delete Data"

1. Close all browser windows
 
2. Open your system control panel or preferences and open the Flash Player control panel

Thanks Don, but no such luck. I know how to do all those things, they don't much seem to help. I have just learned to accept the fact that there is a problem that is just not getting addressed because I have come across many a player that is going through the same problem. The flushes may work for a game or two and then all the crap starts up again. It is what it is. If I get the chance I will try the data collection method and send it to you. These problems seem to happen at all times of the day so there is no specific time that I can nail down.

Hey i'm also getting this issue, have you just upgraded to W10? Because this problem happened as soon as I got Windows 10

Sorry, no. I have windows 7. I did run the tests DonCarnage asked me to and I found out that certain servers have horrible node times and some even have some really horrific packet loss. It does not seem to matter if I am playing EN or RU servers, the problems happen on both.

Same here to all above complaints. The last month has been going steadily downhill...low fps,freezing, brown screen  etc.. I have tried all  the above and am at my wits end. I havent been able to play at all for the last 2 days. Fps stays at 2 to 4   ping  999  always red numbers. This is the same computer that has been fine up until the middle of july. All is well on my end. I don't get it, but I simply cannot get a single battle in anymore. Confused....Peace

1. Describe your system. Looks like you're out of memory or overheated. It's better to do it in a new thread.

2. Brown screen appears when using mouse control (try to switch it off if you're using it) .. and when you're out of memory.

3. After flash player update in the middle of July there are many problems with fps drops. Try to roll back to one of these versions

Firstly, it is clear that this issue is not on Tanki's end, but rather, your own. I'm sorry to hear that the other resources you have investigated have been of no aid, but I am indeed pleased to hear you tried. Right now I don't fully understand how to resolve your issue. Would you mind telling me a few tech specs about your system?

  • Processor, RAM, Flash Player version, etc.?
  • How long have you been enduring this issue?

As an alternate solution to resolving the issue, you could simply go around it by attempting a different way to enter the game. I'd suggest using Standalone Flash Player. And if you suffer lagging issues, enter the in-game settings, un-select, "Automatic Graphics Quality". Once you have done that, a series of additional options will appear. Ensure that no option is selected, and then proceed to save your changes.

In the past couple of months i have noticed that tanki is getting alot of bugs and errors most users report this on the forum but many people are ignorant of the real problems and claim its as a computer issue and nothing is ever blamed by tanki the game. Lots of people have quit tanki because of the ammount of bugs it has and none of the tanki devs tell us anything about the bugs and if they have or will be fixed. The common issue i have noticed about tanki is the respawn and grey screen glitches many have posted this on the forum including me and get no help from anyone example: http://en.tankiforum...opic=263027&hl=

 

All of these common problems should really be looked at by the developers of tanki or else the bugs will keep growing that will annoy the whole tanki community. Do any of the devs even test the game before updates because it seems to me they dont really care about trying to fix these bugs and there is also no communication between tanki staff and the community about the game.

Devs are working on it. If it happens without displaying any errors, then it connected with enabled mouse control. Disabling will solve that issue for some time.

I've heard these issues have gotten a lot worse, and if i weren't on vacation they'd probably be happening to me too. I think they should have more devs focused on fixing bugs, and not so many on Tanki Unity.
