Posting on behalf of account- Madhawk -Requesting Assistance Immediately

Dear Tanki Online Support,

If you're reading this I need your help Desperately.

 

So recently I got taken In by a phishing scam where I inserted my account details. I contacted Ostrica (via p.m) and I was told to change my password immediately.I changed my password and continued to play. It had been a while and I had noticed that my server connection had continuously been closing. I thought that despite changing my password once, the phishers had got a hold of my account. They had not been fiddling with my account. I say this because I noticed that none of my crystals had been missing. But still, better safe than sorry right?

 

So I did the only thing that came to my mind I changed my password not once not twice, but thrice. Now that was the dumbest thing I could have done, because I couldn't remember what my password was anymore. I went to the start page and clicked on the 'Lost nickname or password?' button. It asked me to enter my registered email address, which I did. It accepted it and it sent a link to my email. I opened up my email and went on this link. It redirected me to tanki online on miniclip.com's page and as soon these words appeared "the link you have passed by is corrupted". I did nothing wrong but this still appeared. So then I contacted tanki online support through help@tankionline.com hoping that they would be able to solve my problem.

 

They asked me to fill a application, which I did and i'm sure all answers were right. I say this because Tanki Online Support shortly contacted me telling me that my application had been approved. I was extremely happy, thinking that all my problems were over. They had asked me to follow a link which was included in the mail that they had sent to me so taht I could change my password. Upon clicking the link I was redirected to miniclip.com and for the second time that dreaded message appeared again- "the link you have passed by is corrupted".

 

I was so frustrated I was ready to give up. But I had reached a respectable rank and I had spent a lot of time on my account- Madhawk so I didn't give up and have contacted help@tankionline.com once again. And that is why I've posted this on the forum.

 

help@tankionline.com clearly isn't understanding my problem which is why I created a new account and have posted this on the forum. So that they can read this and get some clarity on the situation.

 

I am able to access my email and i am able to follow the link that you sent to me, but the same message appears every time- "the link you have passed by is corrupted".

 

Is there any other way of going about this so that I can recover my account, I am beginning to lose hope in this system and tanki online's support team.

 

Please contact me as soon as possible on account Madhawk's registered email id.

Hey:)

Tech support understands your issue, and is giving you a valid solution, it's just that Miniclip is some what glitched for some computers, so here's how to do it:)

 

First get the link (using the option in the login menu), and then copy this bit from it sFYYXa.png

 

Then go to http://tankionline.com/ and paste the link, when you load, just click Play and then you'll get prompted to change your password and E-mail :)

 

Oh, and I'll also recommend changing the password of your E-mail as well. He's perhaps using your E-mail to change your password, which made you believe you forgot it.
