Penalties for Cowards

I've noticed in many games that when  a team gets a little behind, cowards from that team start to leave.  This makes it impossible for the players that stay to have a chance of winning.

 

I propose that any player who leaves a game when their team is behind should be prevented from entering another game before twice the time interval left in the first game with a minimum penalty of 15 minutes.

 

So if your team is behind, and you leave a game that has 12 minutes left,  you cannot join another game for 24 minutes.  If you join a game and leave in the last two minutes, you cannot join any other game for 15 minutes.

 

Also, if a team is behind and has fewer players than the other team, it should be impossible to join the other team.  Too often I see cowards join the winning team - even when that team has more players!

 

Games are more fun when the teams are more equal.  When cowards leave games early, they make the game poorer for everyone.

Everyone has the right to join/leave/rejoin any side of the battle without any penalties. Such idea will not exist.
