Persistent lag after changing wifi.

I have a wierd type of lag.Ever since we changed wifi from fibre optic to satellite,I'm always sorta behind time in the game. That means I have to sit in a drop box for a while before I collect it.The same goes for taking or capturing a flag.Even when I destroy an enemy,I have to wait for like two seconds for the shot to take effect. Is there any way I can fix this problem?

One clarification.

Do you try using satellite connection for playing?

Worst choice. Huge ping (and lags) wont let you. You can easily check it by pinging game servers in windows console (Win+R, cmd, Enter):

ping c5.tankionline.com

There is something worse than satellite connection, USB modem with SIM card...

Nope, even USB modem is not worse %) Only very bad modem with very bad connection

We can get stable ping about 200-300. Light speed (and routing issues) wont allow get such results on satellite connection %)

Sorry I ment USB modem with SIM card outside the city. When you're out of town. Away from the base station or house is in a "hole". I know from personal experience, sometimes the signal is good and sometimes you do not have it at all or you have slow EDGE signal. When you get 3G signal again it goes after some time again in EDGE...and goes like that the whole day round and round.

U forgot to put a modem to the pot %)

Even then there is a possibility to amplify the signal (e.g. with antenna). And let's compare "normal" connections, I can weld fiber in that way that it will be much worse than anything else ))

Try to run a System File Checker (SFC) scan to check for any file corruption. SFC scan will scan for corrupt system files on the computer and repair them.

Press Windows key + X, click Command Prompt (Admin).

In the Command Prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:

sfc /scannow

Thanks to all for ur help.My fps is quite good( 40 to 60),but my ping is terrible (300 to 400).

as everyone else said, satellite connection quality is Potato. to play tanki (and most online games) decently you need lower than 100-150 ping.

I suppose you can not go back to the old Internet, because of the contract and that you tried all these tips. If you have a laptop did you try playing with some friend at her/his home through her/his network?

You are absolutely right. Satellite and other wireless connections (e.g. 3g, 4g) are the worst choice for playing dynamic action games due to high ping and unreliability. Hope you will find a better one.
