Brown Screen (Mouse Control enabled)

          1. Yes and No for both settings happens the same;

          2. No.
          3. Firefox.

          This error occurs often and randomly and it happens a lot.
          The only way for me not to lose that ongoing battle is to refresh the page (F5), log in again as prompted and *if* there are still places available in that battle I can rejoin it with my score being kept as the session is still active in the game.
          Any fixes would be appreciated.

Hi, i have this problem of grey screen while playing from the day i start playing tanki (a month ago), i did think is because of lag... but i did go to a cybercafe with highspeed NET where my friends often play tankionline.

I ask them they never get that screen I did play there but the grey screen appear for me.

so after some reading of thread on your forum and other forum I realize that the problem has releated with Mouse Control and at Least (Twins)
cause all my friends don't use Twins, They only use Firebird, Freez, Hammer...

 

Answering your question:
1. Do you have "Alternate camera behaviour" enabled (in Settings)?

No
2. Does the problem disappear after switching off "Alternate camera behaviour"?

I didn't try it but sames others do try it and problem still there.
3. What browser/player do you use?

- Firefox last version (allways updating it) no add-ons installed except (Internet Download Manager AND Ad Block Plus)

- but the problem appear on IE8.0 too cause i did try it as alternative to check the problem

 

if does matter: I use WinXP, and Win7

and the problem apper on all maps but mostly appear in polygon.

what i did try until now to fix the problem but without success:

1 - clear cash

2 - try this link (http://fix.tankionline.com)

3 - cause I use a system of restore i did reinstall my whole computer and try it, but the problem is there.

so as a resume:

- the problem is releated with Mouse Control and at Least (Twins)
- appear mostly in heavy matches, like polygon, when my Twins never stop destroying hulls until this crap grey/brown screen stop me  ;-)

Yes, I get it regularly.  I'm wondering if it has something to do with notification in other open windows, such as Gmail and/or Facebook notifications.  I have mouse control enabled.  

 

However, I've lost the ability, due to firewall and admin settings to use Firefox.  I'm trying to use Chrome and cannot get the mouse controls to work.

For me problem was solved at work and at home at same time, what i did is just disable Alternative Camera Behavior.

 

now i'm still use Twinz with mouse control and evrything is good.
