A thing I have wondered; is your banking system / government forcibly exchanging your dollars and euros for rubles at a very disadvantageous exchange rate?  That would make what Tanki is doing considerable less irrational.

People live game becouse of dragers hakers cheaters mults lag, simply is not atractive becouse of it. And what , for this we have to pay 10% more becouse nobody listen to us and our complainment about engine and all mult nobs. You did not do anything about it, they still rob founds from game, destroy all play scenario, and now the problem is in bad economy in tanki...

 

Make this society nice, than more players will came to play. That's simply.

At the end of the day, we still have to accept the administration's decisions: good or bad. Either we choose to embrace them or leave them. Sales are always 'secret' and unknown. It's a tactic to keep customers in anticipation before sales.

 

There's no point arguing what it could have been probably.

In the 2 posts from Seymon I quoted/referred to, he wrote like that the players could have expected the sales to become lower and less frequently. And that the players do not understand and so on..

Therefor I reminded him about the age group he is talking to (majority), as he expects them to think like grown ups.

That's why we limited it to 40%, as a perfect balance between fun for players and balance for the game. Unfortunately, many of you guys didn't understand that.

This will be fixed with time though, the only thing it takes is time.

 

 

 

Especially as the most here are pretty young, he cant expect them to handle this situation with the skilled anticipation of grownups.

And especially as tanki makes a living up on those young people, they (Tanki) should spend some effort to anticipate how the players might react and what to do about it _in_advance_.

I once wrote here "I spend my money where my fun is". Kids are much more into that thought. I have never seen young kids purchasing brocoli or Spinach to invest in their health. But a lot of them purchases icecream and sweets.

So.. there is no need to argue with unhappy kids afterwards and blame them fomr somthing that Tanki has made those kids used to. But there can't be much expectations on earnings an income through unhappy kids as well.

 

There is more a point of handling those young people right from the start. And this is what I proposed.

 

You wrote, there is no point in arguing what might have been. Right on that, and I dont tend to blame someone. I just point out how it could be done better the next time. BEcause in the meanwhile I have the feeling, that Tanki gets professional in making its own customer base unhappy (not by what they do, but by how they do it).

When I travel overseas I pay at the very worst a 1-2% fee on top of the exchange rate.

Tanki is lying to suggest it costs almost DOUBLE to convert foreign currencies to rubles.

For those new to the conversation here are the facts :)

1. Many were expecting 50% and are now too low on crystals to buy the items they want

2. many generalissomos and other player were expecting an MU sale so now this event helps them IN NO WAY

3. Tanki is trying to rehabilitate us from our addiction to sales

4. Large sales affect the economy of the game

5. OP kits ruin the economy(and buyer/non buyer fairness) of the game

6. community outraged because they cannot afford the items they expected and cannot MU their items at a bargain rate

7. Those who support Tanki in this matter and those who are against arguing and insulting

8. Tanki supporters arguments: (1.) Sales were lower a few years back and everyone should be grateful for 40% and no MU sale (2.) Large sales ruin the economy of the game (4.) Sales should be larger than years ago because more expensive garage

9. Againt Tanki arguments: (1.) Destroyed all plans and dreams (2.) Tanki is doing it for more real money (3.) Sales useless to some and they deserve better because they make up the majority of players

10. XT items being added to the game

11. Againt more XT: Destoys the balance of the game and gives buyers even more advantage because they can quickly find the XT missions

12. XT supporters: Final acheivment, somthing to make generallisimo rank special
