My take on this: 

It's nice, but it seems like it's buggy. For example, some of my M0 hulls can be upgraded to M1 at a 10% discount, while others can't.

Same for turrets:

 

 

Or is this somehow on purpose? :huh:

What are the rest of the turrets and hulls in your garage? I think my friend has the same problem.. 

 

My friend is a Marshal, and has: Wasp M1, Hornet M2, Hunter M2, Viking M2, Dictator M2, Titan M1, and Mammoth M2. Only Titan got the discount (20%). Wasp did not because Wasp M3 unlocks the rank before, and since he has no M3s, there is no discount for the M1 Wasp (which he can now skip M2 and buy M3).

This is because the turrents and hulls u don't have discount have already be unlocked to hicher modifications. So they is no point in discount as u can get m2 without m1.

eg:-

 

i have the rank of commander

and i have enough crystals to buy m3 fire

but my recruitment for now is just m2 fire

i cant buy m2 but im forced to buy m3

I think that tanki has some bugs ... 

 

For example: If I have 6 turrets at the same stage . the discount of the others should be 30% and it's only 10%  ... 

 

Anyway it seems stupid for m3 . Because If I have 6 m3 turrets, I won't be able to get a m3 turret with a 30% discount ...

They are Fire M1, Shaft M1, Rail M2, Viking M1, and Dictator M1.

Mammoth and Wasp cannot be upgraded to M2 at your rank, so only hulls that can be upgraded to M1 can have the discount. Having 2 M1 hulls (Vik and Dictator), you can get Mammoth and Wasp at 10% off. 

 

Hunter can be upgraded to M2, so the system skips the M1 part = no discount.
