For me, my ping is already REALLY bad so the lag doesn't really do anything to me. I certainly don't like the lag tho, it means that I try to shoot someone but it goes straight to them because they're really laggy

The lag usually are at the first 5 mins when I start a battle. Sometimes things go frozen and then things teleport (on my screen). I then change to another battle but then the first 5 mins I enter still lags. Ping 200-500. I have a frikking ROG laptop and Tanki is trying to kill my computer. CPU usage 70 - 100%. My laptop sounds like a jet and feels hotter than the magma paint. Damn.

CPU: i5-4200H

RAM: 6GB

Internet: Broadband 45 Mb/s

Graphics: Geforce GTX950M

Operating system: Win 8.1 Pro

 

Note: It seems like the people using Win 10 isn't getting these problem. I don't know much technical stuff so just saying... Something uncompatible??? I dunno.

But all of a sudden the screen just freezes for a good 15-20 seconds.

The ping goes to 999 a few seconds before wveything stops and the turrets start turning,but while they are you can move,but u can't can't take supplies or capture flags or kill players I use a desktop windows 7i use a cable so its directly connected and I live in the UK,which is not far from the servers

Till yesterday's afternoon, everything was fine, I was playing with my friends and having fun. But then, something happened. The game started to lag so damn badly, that the homepage (tankionline.com/en) takes more than a minute to fully load. Even after that, the play button doesn't appear for a long time. Once it does, I click it and it loads a server for more than 5 minutes. The battles don't appear on the screen for like 10 seconds. It takes a LOT of time to load the battle and at times, I get kicked due to inactivity. Once it is loaded, I can do NOTHING. NOTHING at all. The ping is always stuck at 999, I can't kill, heal or even self destruct. It takes like 3 seconds to send a message in the chat. The friend list, missions, garage and other things takes a lot of time to load.

 

First things first, I know that it's not the server lag. Why? Because tanki's homepage itself takes like a minute to load. It wasn't lagging before yesterday's afternoon. While facing the server lag, you can at least somehow play. But with this lag I'm facing, My friends can play with ease and even my brother, who is using the same type of network connection as me can play with no lag! I can't do anything. I tried different browsers but the lag won't just stop.

 

Other websites such as Tanki Forum, Youtube and Google loads really fast. I'm using a net speed of about 1 mbps, which I guess is enough to play tanki with no lag. I even flushed my DNS but the lag won't stop.

 

I might be wrong, this may be the server lag after all but this is really pissing me off. This honestly makes me want to quit the game. Please help me out.

when i logged in it freezes...i re-connected my net....still the same problem, then i re-loged in...it says that servers are under maintainance....then i tried again...it says #error 109..... < some kind of error

 

is it tanki problem?

The lag is so bad, I barely managed to even access the forums after 1 1/2 weeks to post this....
Here's my cmd ping results from a ~10mbps connection originating in San Francisco, CA:

And the like. First in-game glitches, and now I'm seeing huge packet loss everywhere. What gives? <_<

This was my first sign of something seriously amiss (end of September): servers would show empty or not load the battles. Then the ping spikes, and the freezes. Unfortunately, no one recognized all the symptoms as being server-related until it affected a huge number of players. I think we need more pro-active programming (such as maintaining test accounts far away from the server base) to adequately investigate any unusual behaviors before they impede everyone.

Tanki runs fine in my laptop.But now , tanki lags too much now a days....

The problem is that when i enter the game, the ping is normal,then it increases above 600 and again normal,then again above 600 and back to normal and so on.This results in some serious lags.....Any solutions ? :(
