Change in forum feedback mechanism

Critics of this update keep claiming that it's "silencing feedback." On the contrary, it's forcing people who disagree with a post to voice their feedback, instead of clicking a little red button. That sounds like quite the opposite of silencing to me!

Besides, this update will make players give more thought to their responses to controversial posts, such as unpopular opinions or changes to the game. The days where players pile downvotes onto every new update before even testing it out or giving it thought just might be gone... And that's nothing short of terrific news for the community.

, Devs don't care from our posts ... Devs changed and fixed updates only when it had a lot of down votes. The point in this update is, to stop the fervor in the forum after a bad update .

for example, from now on, every update will have couple of likes, but it can be only 10% from the tanki's commuinty.  90% are ignored .

Dictatorship ...

Tanki is going down hill and faster than ever .

Really great...Too many get down voted for no reason, and sometimes just because someone doesn't like another person. This should bring more honor back to the forum. :)

Dislikes give a concise view of how many people believe something is unpopular. It beats reading 200+ replies to a topic.

If a dislike should be explained shouldn't a like be explained also?

C`mon Tanki, what`s next? Add corner protection so babies wont hurt themselves? Fence around electric generators and factories so baby tankers dont go in dangerous areas?

This is a shame, not allowing us to express our feelings

You developers should think outside the box!

He's totaly right about that!!!!!!!

This is stupid, you don't even care about our opinions and now you want to silence them

Its a great way of cutting off the community's opinion on whether something is a good

or not, that was the main idea behind this update

Its a shame good updates always have to be followed by bad ones

all i see if a community of 5 year olds who dislike the topic because mommy never bought them that piece of candy ...

now unlike when than happens they actually want to listen to you plead.... they just want your feedback on stuff yesh... stop acting like they are evil and stuff

Please, it doesn't impress when you just write silly things about immaturity and mommas.. Just like I wrote in clear language and logically - rebuttal logically too. Without all those stupid slogans, answer directly to the point to each and every thing I said.

Now this be some serious d3s.

^As you can see, I don't even need to explain anything. That is a downvote that is wasting forum space by being a comment. What on earth makes people think that removing downvotes will force people to give reasons for their opinions?

They can just type whatever they want to say, doesn't mean they will always give reasons for it, will they?

Pointless IMO.

just a way of tanki to evade negative 9001 dislikes

Dear developers: just make good discounts and cool events and you wouldn't have to do that...

Thanks for reporting. I was away at the time and the I&S section was poorly checked. That topic has been dealt with and if you see any more, I'll appreciate it if you PM me with the link.

Now the forum is becoming a social network :D

The forum IS a social network, i.e. a place, where people talk, discuss, share opinions and interests. The fact that they added a feature that is almost identical to the one in Facebook does not automatically make the forum identical to Facebook.

So, once you become a moderator or something related to Tanki Staff, you can't say bad things about Tanki?

Yes, that is true. If we dislike something we can always give constructive criticism in PM, but complaining on the forum (or anywhere in public) gives a bad image of administration-staff relations.

tanki doesn't like to see downvotes in their updates so they removed the down vote button

so i guess from now on we'll get to see some useless updates
