Would it be too much for you guys to add an abort or disconnect button to the loading screen when loading a match? Every time I try and join a match, the loading screen stays at 98%, but never joins the actual game. I have to restart my actual browser to even be able to play again. Has anyone else had this problem?

This is an extremely frequent problem, it occurs to everyone. I have had days where I can't load a single game because of it. 

If you clear your cache, run the game through Mozilla Firefox/ Standalone Player, and clear Shared Objects, it generally improves this problem. You can also run the game through fixit.tankionline.com.

Further instructions on how to decrease loading time and decrease ping can be found here and here.

I've had this problem, but only when I join a battle that is about to finish, so when I'm loading in the battle finishes, I have to restart.

I myself noticed that if I put "Auto Graphics" off as well as all other settings I never use (mouse controls) the game loads faster.

 

Not sure what settings you have on though.

I'm pretty sure it's not a cache issue, and is a server side issue instead. Even when I reinstall my browser, I still get the same problem.

There would be no point, because when this occurs there is something wrong with your internet connection when the page is buffering. Even if an abort button is added the page would have to cancel the current task and reload the page, which may take even longer or would cause your browser to crash, i think the mechanics may be improved in unity but theres not much they can do at the moment

If it won't help, leave tanki because your internet is too weak for it.

thats the problem.. I have the same program on my laptop and i use it from time to time.. and ALWAYS ALWAYS  after I use it, tanki battles  take forever to load.

 

I usually go on a empty server and create a few battles i like to regularly join.

They always take a while to load, but  once they completely load I go back to whatever server I want to play on and join battles... Everything works as normal then. :)

YEEEEEEEESSSSSSSS!!! It will tell me after about 5 minutes stuck at 98% that I was removed from the battle due to inactivity! Soooo annoying! Sometimes I have to reload and keep doing this dozens of times, sometimes waiting up to 4 HOURS for it to load a battle!!!!!!
