Maybe it was a simple mistake? A bug on the forum? Happens. You could've simply ask him via pm, or write to his admin. Everything can be solved easily, simply ask.

I don't think I see much of those in violators section, but from our earlier conversation in server chat I deduce you're referring to individual chat mods having a different arrow style each.  Well, its just an expression of their individuality :)

U KNOW corruption is a very deep word, i live in india and i know what is real corruption

now now admins cant do anything since they are not developers who make updates and all

they are only people who are doing a job that they were given by the developers

if they are removing posts then that means those posts may go against game rules

i also criticised the update, none of my posts got removed  u know why? i didnt break any game rules...i think

u know when u sign up to this game , u agree to a set of rules. u should know that when u signed up u agreed to this so called "corruption"

I just wanted to point out that for Facebook moderation, the system does indeed work as pay-per-comment, as was suggested. This system is prone to abuse, and through my career I have several experiences to share.

 

I, personally, have been tempted to simply comment for the sake of it - and some moderators do indeed do just that, replying with a simple smiley face, or some other useless acknowledgement.

 

To take the most memorable example, former moderator at one point in time went to old Question of the Week videos, which had already finished and winners announced, just to copy and paste the answer "Thanks for entering!" on hundred and hundreds of comments. Mia and I called him out, and FBI did a stellar job at resolving the problem, but this just shows how prone the system is to abuse from selfish or immoral individuals.

This situation was discussed with @FederalBureauFBI and  six months ago.

Only they know the full details of what really happened.

I'd like to point out that you have not been acknowledged the full details of the situation, therefore you are just using your assumption of what happened, which is NOT true.

You assume it was an intentional act. False.

You assume I did it just for the crystals. False.

If you don't know the full details of any situation, I'd advise you not to go around spreading false information.

hmmm, will leave that one to FBI to answer, he'll be more apt to clarify the situation on this since, as you both agree, he knows the full story.

Please read the sections 3 and 6 of the game rules - members of the Administration do have the right and authorisation to enforce rules, at their own discretion. It's not corruption, it's simply called "abiding by the rules", which administration does with caution and care. And as you nicely noticed, the public discussion is allowed for months (maybe years now), as long as it's polite, civilized, backed by arguments and above all - to the point. So, shall we dance?

Fair enough.  Point is, they're willing to address directly the comments and issues people are asking.  That said, I have been keeping up with "other side", and it's clear there are MANY people that have tried to raise a flag and ask for a straight answer and they got punished for it when the conversation gets a little heated.

 

That said, still, this thread is here, and they are talking, so it's better than nothing, we'll see how it goes.

devs care about this game more than we all do, they wont let the game go down. dont worry the update may seem bad but after testing on test server, its not OP and just like normal paints ;) go test it if u dont believe me

Whatever it was, I would like to ask one of the Admins, if possible if moderating

this Sunday in their opinion went well?

 

Personally I believe it went wrong on both sides: players crossed lines but Moderators also started

to use the "sledgehammer".

In regard to my questions I would like to focus on the moderating.

 

This Sunday many posts were removed. Even older posts from that I am 100% sure were totally on topic

and were not filled with the "mountain dew video" or instead breaking any game rules.

They had critisism on the update, that 's all.

When I saw some of my posts removed I reacted on that, only to see those posts removed as well.

The latter were indeed not on topic, but you get upset when your posts just vanish...

They are hidden not removed if I 'm not mistaken, so look at them and see if I 'm right or wrong.

Can I prove anything?

No, because I don 't have that power, the power is completely in the hands of the Staff.

 

I never had a problem with that, I always felt that Tanki gave plenty of space to give critisism.

And Mods etc. were overall doing a good job.

(and like many other Tankers I post(ed) negative but also many TO positive posts)

 

Did Tanki change their policy towards the Forum regarding critisism?

The downvote was removed, instead now you always have to post if you don 't agree with certain updates etc.

Ok, I strongly preferred the downvote button, ofc it has flaws, but it 's still an indicator.

A lot of downvotes even without the many "downvote followers" who don 't even have a clue why they downvote...

is still in the end a majority of downvotes.

 

Well, downvote is gone, so now you have to post instead.

But what if those posts got removed at least this Sunday, and you don 't have a clue why,

because the exact same kind of posts were never a problem when downvotes were still in place.

 

To end a long story: is it TO 's intention to "moderate" the Forum in a placed filled with solely flowers and butterflies

by removing posts that are negative about the Game or was what happened Sunday a single event

that both parties would rather not see repeated?

So, why do we even apply for staff? Let's clear some things. I applied for mod, many times, because I want to help and contribute something to our community. But, there is a problem. Many people apply for staff, just because they want to get paid with crystals and special paints. 

And, how do we even call staff members? We call them volunteers who want to help. That is true, in some cases.

 

So, who is a volunteer? Volunteer is a person who wants to help, for free, without any payments. It would be understandable if staff members would only receive special paints, for their hard work, and not huge amounts of crystals.

 

If they would not get paid with crystals, we would have more honest staff members, who really want to help. :)

 

Please, don't be offended, this is only a suggestion. :)
