hmm, you are really a 1 sided person i see, how come you or ds haven't shown the countless arguments you created in the original leaders chat for clans which ultimately the mods had to  remove you due to childish acts while you were a commentator from that chat.  Do i really need to go back and find those chats child? Serouisly if we are going to expose everyone i want to have some fun with this :D

No, you said that you cannot commit for multiple reasons. In our experience so far, "part time" mods aren't doing enough... especially compared to the fact then some mods work more than 10 hours per day. Every day.

 

We do not force applicants to have that kind of dedication, but daily occurrence is what we're expecting from every candidate. Especially during their training period.

I'm not really interested in the position any more, to honest. It's far too time consuming for me, I have better things to do.

 

"10 hours a day, everyday"  Well that makes the whole "volunteers" thing even harder to understand. NOBODY is going to work 70 hours a week for free. Don't these people have lives to live, jobs to go to, or school for the younger ones? No wonder you can't keep any good mods, you demand WAY too much from them, especially for a "volunteer position".

you're craving to step over anything I or any other admins or devs will say to to refute and argue with it and you're even taking a simple harmless ogre joke post (which was rather cute actually) and trying to turn it into a subject for arguments.  That's actually called flaming, and mate you're not really good at it.  How about instead pick on the many other things said in this topic and share some real concern of yours over the game my good friend? :)

  He used to be part of the staff and he was a commentator; how is the information that he gives us 'speculations' and 'incomplete'? I do agree that some thing he said are a bit exaggerated, but for the most part, I believe the majority of things that he said.

Slandering and Defamation or libel ← I'll give you only 3 words for today that we use in the legal context all the time.  Go google it, make sure you're getting the legal definition, NOT the dictionary definition.

Somewhere in this topic, one of the worst trolls of this forum, @canadarules, made an allusion to the legal ramifications that certain slandering activities can have, and I do have to give @canadarules credit for that.  He may be an under-aged troll, but a much wiser one than most of us would think he is :)

Are you kidding? You basically just proved my point about this by saying what I first have highlighted in red above. They don't reflect what you want people to see, true or not, so they've been taken down. 

Secondly, "We don't protest against the video," is about the biggest lie I've ever heard. Oh yeah, you don't protest it, just delete it. I'm pretty sure if you are deleting it than you are protesting it.  -_-

Third, "the game forum and chats are no place to discuss speculative contents". Oh really, so were not allowed to say our speculations about how bad TO is becoming and the corruption going on? Of course, of course.

Well I do hope you people start getting an idea of why this topic exists with us answering all your questions and clearing your doubts,  but still do not allow that video on our forums other game spaces.  We have no interests whatsoever in keeping scandalous material that do not rightly and righteously reflect upon us and our activities.

There are "tons" of posts that give completely wrong impressions of tanki and spread rumors yet those don't seem to be a problem. Oh wait, because those arn't ACTUALLY true. But this god forbidden video however is true down to the last sugar-coated lie tanki has ever told. So we better remove it because its the only factual evidence that the community has to reveal our faults.......... i see how it is  -_-

No, let me tell you what I see.  I see that I did not target a certain person, I mentioned a certain lack of understanding by game creators which is being covered up by the mods.

 

But instead, what is the reaction?  People are targeting the characters of mods or the personal character of myself.  I am being called a cheat, a liar, a savior, a hero for a video that I never could have forseen having such an effect.  Mods are being called corrupt because of the past actions of individuals and for simply doing their jobs. 

 

Despite how much I disagree with the job being done, in the end, as Issho tells me, he is only doing his job, and not much more.

 

My interest is in assuring the transparency of what is happening in Tanki. 

 

I hate things that are hidden from me, and I hate uncertainty, and too much is happening right now, and it's resulting in a dying game, especially within the EN community.

 

It is an environment of hiding things and deception, the whole problem is general, not one or two individuals whom are perpetrating it.

In your video , at 1:03  it seems you're saying you left involuntarily and lost all those paints and avatar and crystals and what not.  That's where these poor forumers and many other tankers and mere youtube spectators got confused about it and thought you were kicked out or sacked.  The picture you posted above indicate that you left.  May be you'd want to clarify that with the confused community in a clearer fashion, I don't know, perhaps in another video, I'm still subbed btw :)

 

 

He didn't make that video expecting it to become the big deal that it is. He has made other videos in the past similar to this one, so its not like he expected a different reaction out of this video than the other ones did. And as you can see, it clearly did make a huge difference, as half of this topics posts wouldn't be here if it weren't for that video. lol sub count doesnt matter, it has like 5k views, more than double his sub count. 

So if I know the cure to cancer but I can't tell it directly to Obama then i should just leave it alone? Sami has opened up a lot of players' eyes, and he is doing something useful not like other tanki youtubers.

However, I agree that there isn't enough personal communication in the forum between players and people representing Tanki. We'll be working on solving this. This thread, with so many answers from people with avatars, is already an improvement. We'll make sure it doesn't stop on that.

I think sometimes we all forget that there are real people in this world behind the tank, behind the post, or behind the avatar.

 

Lack of clear communication leads to misunderstandings - whether in the real world or the online world.

 

I think it would be very helpful for there to be better communication between everyone here and for everyone to consider that we aren't all just pixels on the screen but real people as well.

Its not even a difficult question to answer, so let me restate it, and hopefully next time you quote me you'll give an answer instead of acting like a desperate politician.

Of course it was intentional.  But you seem to not grasp the concept of jokes, puns, being funny, humour, etc ... that's the kind of skill I cannot teach you I'm afraid, and its sad that so many people in here are angry about many legit issues but you're all mad about a little humour cause you don't seem to have much of a sense of humour, or so it seems apparently.
