^^^lol dat one good one man

Why players are not respecting devs and are just mad now is because of

the lighting of the bomb (premium account) but also there's an amount of blame to WHO LET THE FUEL LYING THERE? Players need an answer or else (I'm not threatening anyone here, I don't mean to) they will get mad, Unity and flash shall die. Just see vlog 63 (I guess? The one where premium accounts are introduced) and the change in forum feedback mechanism. However, a clean slate (Unity) is a good idea as it will simplify things for the devs. A lot of topics and issues that are unsolved (anti cheat, drugs, kits,etc) HAVE to be solved in Unity otherwise the makers shall be left penniless and I shall see the downfall of a game I loved.

I would like the developers to explain to us why we can not view their profile, while we can view pretty much every normal user's profile. For example:

@amelin

@arts80

@Anton Volkov

@vitaly

@denton

@dragonfly

What do you guys have to hide? Why did you want to restrict your data from the public view, and let everyone else out there in the open without asking first?

True discrimination.

It quite well could be that all those accounts have the Godmode_on hack that is set up as a special combo in their garages, when selected shows the player as Godmode_on on servers.

illuminati confirmed!

And FYI Semyon has a Gissmo account that he uses to play the game.

There are actually 22 Game Violators: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=184456

Number of Game Violators needed in this game is probably 100+ .... and it is hard to get and train that many. Just like it's hard to get enough chat mods. And no, Game Violators aren't selected among chat mods, they are picked and trained differently, as you said yourself. Their admin is @Yele, so if you have any further questions and suggestions regarding game violations, please contact her.

Hello.

Please explain me something. Why 90% of chat mods can't even speak English language?

Btw, when a newbie asks a question, chat mods reply to him/her with comments feature, that chat mods have. I am saying that "comments" feature has a lot of grammar mistakes in it...

@E.Leclerc as much as i would like to support u since im ur friend, i must correct something I find wrong.

FIrst i agree some mods make mistakes sometimes but why not let them off? they are humans and even a extremely well versed guy in english CAN and DOES make mistakes.

Second, me coming from a country where english is a much like a 2nd or even 3rd language , i am naturally not well versed with english since the only place i actually use english is tests and on the net. Many mods are like that , they know english but dont use it that much in their daily lives.

If we were to get so-called english speaking mods , then wouldnt that leave us with like 2-3 countries where english is spoken at a general level?

those so call 90% of the mods are from different countries and are not native to english so why not let them off if they make a small mistake because in the end mods are HUMANS like u and me

Well...

Chat moderators are also humans, but they should also have some knowledge of English language.

They do have to be fluent in English, it is one of the requirements for the position, but as uzumaki here said, English isn't native language for most of them. And that is fine, since they are here to take care of their own communities, be it Arabic, Indian, Hungarian or some other. Currently, chat mods can moderate in more than 30 world languages in our great international community, and I'm extremely proud of them.

And the funny thing is - most comments were written by British and American mods :D

Is it true that the devs hate us and are being mean to us? After all, they only gave us a 40% sale for Tankers Day, and there are numerous other indications that this is true. In fact, you might even be in league with them. How much are you getting paid to extol the makers of Tanki? Go slink back into your little hole you corrupt mod.

Jk :P

@Damn_Slow

Hey man, thank you for explaining how the pay works for chat and forum moderators.

However, I just wanted to point out that for Facebook moderation, the system does indeed work as pay-per-comment, as was suggested. This system is prone to abuse, and through my career I have several experiences to share.

I, personally, have been tempted to simply comment for the sake of it - and some moderators do indeed do just that, replying with a simple smiley face, or some other useless acknowledgement.

To take the most memorable example, former moderator at one point in time went to old Question of the Week videos, which had already finished and winners announced, just to copy and paste the answer "Thanks for entering!" on hundred and hundreds of comments. Mia and I called him out, and FBI did a stellar job at resolving the problem, but this just shows how prone the system is to abuse from selfish or immoral individuals.

hey fed isnt selfish and immoral okay he's a great guy

agreed is one of the most well behaved and kind players i have seen. I have seen only a few players who are kind hearted (not including staff since they are very kind :P ) and fed is definetly one of them. I respect fed and find it very hard to believe that fed did something like that :(

Why is minimum rank limit for Esports helpers much higher than other i.e Brigadier?

Also, why was Forum Moderator rank limit increased from Second Lieutenant to Major?

for esports frankly, the last thing i look at is rank.  the requirements i set are already quite high and there won't even be a single player under rank general that'll reasonably fulfil it.  nevertheless i kept it even lower just in case :)

same for forum.  the amount of people with sub par applications gets bigger as we reduce the ranks.  however that won't stop someone who's really serious and really good to become a mod :)

Debunk this "myth" for me:

Developers removed the Server Load graph because they didn't want anyone to have this type of evidence to be presented in support of the game's and/or company's bad reputation and/or down-falling.

i will debunk it for u, they are making some changes to it so it has been removed temporarily  :mellow:

seriously people just cling on tanki for everything

They didn't remove the ability of seeing how active is each server when you want to switch so it's an alternative.

its funny how you made a topic about it and then came and post here as well :)  Its been answered by Hazel already on your topic.  Just note that I don't share his ""tanki is dying" warriors" naming.  I call them people TO Doomsday prophets.

This indicates a singular level of ignorance. English is the 2nd most spoken language and the most widespread. Not only is it spoken in more than "2-3 countries" it is also the most common second language. Therefore it is by far the most useful  language for a mod to be fluent in.
