so i am back after few months, and every one is talking about tanki x first thing i did is invested 80$ to buy some crystals for kits, and prem account, but now i came to know that tanki x will be out soon and we have to start new on tanki x, my question is what happens to all the money we spend ed on tanki online still spending more, if that gonna just go in trash, why should i buy more crystals, anymore, will we get refunded or something, sorry i tried to find answer but didn't came across any. if all the money spended is gonna get wasted i will rather choose to play tankionline after tanki x release too,

Hi. This is not a bug nor a glitch or failure from devs.

 

Its pretty much as it has always been intended. Here's why : (All % below refers to extra Railgun protection)

 

Wasp M2 + 10% = Wasp M3

Hornet M2 + 20% = Hornet M3

 

Hornet M2 + 10% ≠ Hornet M3 (or anything else in the game!)

 

and actually Hornet M2 + 10% is inferior in performance to Wasp M2 + 10%

 

You might argue that with 10% Hornet M2's protection becomes on par with Wasp M3. On paper it does even exceed that amount by 2.8 points. However, in XP/BP format hull protection is not the only determining factor. Once you consider the manoeuvrability of Wasp M2 over that of Hornet M2 you'll quickly understand how the latter just becomes the tortoise of a format where it really has no chance against the other 4 variants when they are in skilful hands.

 

The same goes for XP matches, its barely ok to have Hornet M2 + 20% while Hornet M2 + 10% just is not sufficient enough. It easy prey and bogs down the team which has such a player.

 

And you don't even have to take our words for it, gather some friends with these M2 setups, try them all out and see for yourself.

 

Not included in this explanation are characteristics of Railgun M2 and Railgun M3. I'm pretty sure if you understood the above you'll also understand that you'll need to consider all the characteristics of the turret in both M2 and M3 variants and their impact on the poor miserable Hornet M2 + 10%

Moderators don't do that.

But if you ever see a mod trolling someone or simply doing stuff that breaks the rules such as abusing his powers, swearing, banning without reason etc., you may report that mod's action to the appropriate admin responsible for that division of mods (forum, chat, FB mods etc.).

As fascinating as that video might be, it's pretty clear that it's only one side of the story. I'm not going to take any sides, but it's plain simple that most of the things he said were overly exaggerated and spoken from only his perspective.

Corruption in moderation system used to be rampant and it has been made clear multiple times that the new system prevents moderators from abusing their powers. Mods do not get paid on the basis of amount of bans they give. This can and has been confirmed by multiple representatives of the moderation team. The blocking of his account could have been a pure mistake. It has happened before, and as long as lags exist, it will continue to happen. I'm still not denying the fallacies in the system as I have been a witness to many unfair blocks and bans.

 

As far as his posting 'dissenting comments' goes, it's pretty obvious that having an avatar does give you a responsibility. Though it doesn't mean you can't dislike a game update, it also doesn't mean you can go on a hate post rampage. People do perceive a person having an avatar as being a representative of the game and one needs to take that into account while criticising an update. There are countless examples of mods/admins being against an update and yet taking care to not use extreme words.

 

In any case, before you go, "OMG, Tanki is corrupt.....", try and get both sides of the story and view the situation in an impartial light. This particular case has been discussed before.

Point out one statement in my post which you think is a baseless guess. If you look around properly, you'll find the sources. Mods/Administrators have, in fact, cleared up such matters multiple times. If you read the main post of this topic itself, you'll see one such case which has been debunked by DS.

Just because someone had a brief and pretty infamous staff carrier in Tanki, it doesn't make him a valid resource for anything, only for more gossips and speculations. I, for a start have been known to give information such as "admins are paid with chocolate cakes and teddy bears", but none of those were taken serious, even though I'm an admin. When you start using common sense, things become much clearer. 

 

Now, if you wanna learn the truth, start reading from the beginning... you have some 50+ pages to catch up ;)
