Why does it seem that Tanki are always pushing DM onto us? Every day on all 3 of my accounts I will a DM battle. There is no skill to them, bigest drugger with the biggest hull always wins...

 

 

Sadly last year the Halloween event was much better than this year.

Because Dm's give the less amount of crystals. That's also why they didn't make a score cap for it.

No DMs don't offer you less... actually , they earn you more as in other team battles, the team needs to win the round for getting fair amount of crys and the losing team is given very less compared to the winning one. DMs don't have this dissadvantage.. Edited October 24, 2015 by IVIr.Blue

DM's are (by default) the battle mode in which the battle fund is the smallest, so of course some players will receive more than others but the total amount the machine will give as reward is less than other battle modes. That's a fact.

I for one will not buy anymore crystals if there are no sales. I have not gotten any personal discounts on either account. If they are trying to get us to spend more they are going the wrong way about it. I only spend if the values is there. I cant justify spending a bunch of money and get very little. I wonder how many others feel the same way. Not meaning to complain but there doesnt seem to be much to look forward to anymore. Maybe Tanki should research how Wal-mart made it big. They sold more product for less profit and still made more because of the volume. Along the way the put the competition out of business. Something to think about. Tanki, you are selling something people dont need to survive. Put some value in it and get more people to spend a little instead of trying to get a few to spend a lot. The one who spend a lot will spend it anyway. Just my 2 cents.

Where I used to live in the Pacific Northwest of the USA there used to be a grocery chain that practically no longer exists now. No kidding - a can of soup that costs $5 in that chain was $2 at another chain - for the same brand, flavor, and quantity.

 

Now, what person would willingly pay $5 when it was $2 about a mile away?

 

And they wondered why they went out of business.

 

I had a boss once that thought just as Tanki does. He refused to mark anything down, and, he always insisted on a 25% markup on new items and 50% on used items. His theory was this: if he listed something for $100 and sold it for $80 he thought he was LOSING $20 - even if the item cost $50 wholesale. What a moron! And he could not understand why the numbers of customers declined and why sales declined from around $75,000 per month to about $13,000 per month over the course of about 3 years.

 

There was a local chain that opened up about the same time he did and by the time my boss's store closed the other one had 5 locations. They purchased the same computer items we did and marked them up only 10%. Sad thing was that it was cheaper for me to buy things from them than my own employer.

 

He ended up losing everything (including his house) because of his greed.

I would not buy crystals even if there were sales. We're being ripped-off for a few blue pixels.
