I think it's a poor choice of name because in English "X" also stands for "ex" which means something you don't engage in or partake in any longer.

 do someone know if they will reset the crystals and give the possibility to change the in game name (name of the tank) for limited time ? for the New TankiX...... I hope the staff of tanks can see that and ...tell us if there is any possibility to do that like a event .

I have a suggestion for the transfer of accounts from TankiOnline to TankiX.

 

1-do NOT transfer all or any accounts automatically. As others have said there are too many inactive and abandoned accounts out there, most likely several orders of magnitude more inactive users than active ones. This also prevents the "which account is the 'real' one question if the same user exists in both games... What if the flash version rabks up and I want to re-propagate that rank up to TankiX. This way lie madness.

 

2-Give players the OPTION for a ONE-TIME migration of our Flash account to Unity. This one-time migration will set up as close to an equivalent account as is possible given the inevitable differences in equipment and economy. This migration also REMOVES OR DISABLES the flash account....which makes sense - there can be no going back. Also, this one-time migration must account for nickname collisions, someone might have taken your nick, or you might be able to get the nick you really wanted in TOF.

 

3-implement an inactive account management policy. Accounts ranked lower than Sergeant which go unused for two months should get wiped... Those players just aren't coming back. Accounts between Sergeant and Warrant Officer 1 should be given a grace period of three months before being wiped. Four months for WO1 to Major. Six months for Major to Commander. One year for Gismos.

Quick question... I play on my chrome book at school, and play mostly tankionline... And i heard that the new ''Tanki X'' was made with ¨Unity 3D¨... And from experiance, i know that Unity 3D doesnt work on chrome... Would Tanki X still be playable on the chrome book?

Yes, I'm aware of that method, but it only works from Chrome 42 (April 2015) to Chrome 44 (August 2015).

 

From Chrome 45 (Oct 2015) onwards, NPAPI can no longer be found on the flags page.

 

Feel free to try it on Chrome, it won't work, which is quite unfortunate actually.

I just want to draw your attention to one thing, guys.

 

As Hazel said, it hasn't been decided yet whether current progress will be moved to the new version of Tanki or not. It's too early to tell. It will all depend on the economical system of the new game. And it's still being developed by Hazel and other game designers.

 

When it is finished, rest assured we'll announce it in the forums and video blogs.

 

Guys, let me make one thing very clear — NOBODY intends to spit into players' faces. It will either be a complete transfer of current progress, or as many goodies as possible for old players. You guys helped Tanki get to where it is today, so we will not let you down. Rest assured.

There are 2 points you have to take note.

 

1. "It hasn't been decided yet whether current progress will be moved to the new version of Tanki or not."

 

Isn't this clear enough for you? A transfer hasn't been confirmed. Plus, that was June 2015, it may be obsolete.

Remember when account transfers were promised during Apr 2014? Now they changed their mind!

 

2. "It will either be a complete transfer of current progress, or as many goodies as possible for old players."

 

Keyword -> "either".

It may be a transfer, but it may also be some compensation for our hard work, which is not a transfer.

 

All in all, it hasn't been decided yet.
