The Alarming Unkindness of Tanki Players.

Mate, if you really want to agree with the OP, at least write a few words, instead of flooding this Forum with stupid and useless posts, trying to get a high post count which about. Noob.

I agree with you, Killer, it is sad that you had to experience this sickening act, but as the saying goes, "With age comes experience", and in the future, hopefully you will be more careful :) (Dropping the flag ok top of him, for example, would be a good way of ensuring that HE caps the flag.)

shut up noob

If you two are gonna fight, please do it somewhere else. This topic wasn't made for that. Thank you.

Yup. People in Tanki (some of them) can be very selfish. I remember the times when a full health mammoth takes a health box in front of me while a low health wasp rushes for it and fails. my reaction  7n2897n 9gv7gvn 6

I once tried to play Call of Duty online at my friend's. I was shocked by how people can be so rude behind their headphones. Every sort of insults and a lot of racism.

As Call of Duty, Tanki gives adrenaline and it influences people's behavior. But I can't deny that Tanki (and most of mmo in general) is full of rude people. Unkind is a too good word, actually :D

The other day, I was happily enjoying a game of Brest CTF. I was top of my team, having already caught five flags, when I noticed a poor noob using a shaft-wasp combo. Predictably, his name was perpetually fixed in the bottom rung of my team chart. Something about his aimless runs into enemy territory, and his ghastly deaths at the hands of shaft campers saddened me. I took it upon myself to help him get one flag capture, and told him to stay at our base waiting. Picking up the enemy flag, I raced back to our base as fast as my tracks could carry me. Triumphantly, I dropped my flag in front of the poor tanker, permitting him to perform the final honors. It seemingly took him by surprise that anyone would think to let him capture a free flag, and he hesitated for a second. In that one fateful second, I watched another one of my teammates lunge for the flag, take it, and rush for the flag base. I was stunned, all my hard work wasted on a player who certainly didn't need any extra xp. As I searched through my team list looking for the culprit, I found him, happily holding the second place position. I politely asked him why he took the flag when he certainly didn't need it. He responded vehemently with a word that I would be banned for typing. I finished the battle with a hefty battle fund and a heavy heart. So many Tanki players seem to have no thought for anyone except themselves. The more I think, the more I remember times when selfishness has caused my entire team to lose. Darn! my mom is calling me to do dishes, so I'll have to cut my long commentary short, but I'm guessing you get the point. I'll talk more about this later.

It happens all the time, and it's a shame. I always will give the flag back, or get another flag for that person, but many people just want to finish the game. If you really want to give someone the flag, just block others from getting it.

I sincerely hope that if a player grabbed a flag specifically to give to another player, you wouldn't be selfish enough to steal it from under his nose. There is more to life than battle funds and xp you know. I believe a certain level of politeness and kindness should be shown in everything, including battles in Tanki (I sure don't show kindness 100% of the time though  :P).

Btw, I always try to get a screenshot, but the stupid shift key wasn't working on this faulty keyboard, which means no screenshots  <_<.

Don't you just press prt sc for a screenshot?

So far, I haven't seen anything like this in any other multiplayer games (and I play a lot of other games), this seems to be mostly restricted to Tanki. I'm not saying it's ONLY restricted to Tanki, but the frequency in which it occurs is upsetting to say the least.

It happens in practically every game that is multiplayer and existant. I've seen it too many times to count.

I have a hater . I've always dreamed of having one. My life dream is fulfilled. Now I can die in peace :P.

Btw, a few notes to you:

1. I prefer the term "mentally unstable"

2. When you're bored and have lots of free time what do you do? Write long rants about how the world (Tanki) could be changed for the better. Hence the long paragraph.

3. Really I don't have a third one, but two notes can't count as a few, so I'll just say: never eat onions before a date.

Edit: never mind, it turns out you're just a normal person disagreeing with me, not a hater  <_<. Next time don't get my hopes up.

I admire your chivalry, my murderous insect companion, and I can say that, having done the same thing on multiple occasions, you learn when and where to drop a flag for a team mate. If you don't corner him in just the right spot, you will find yourself shoving team mates just to try and get the flag back.

whats his name

If you're talking about my hater dissenter, his name is kevred.

If you're talking about the noob, I won't tell because that would be mean.

If you're talking about the meany, his name has completely slipped my mind.

Don't you just press prt sc for a screenshot?

Wait, why hasn't anyone told me about this?

Grrrr  *buzzes around in a frenzy*.

If I didn't agree with what you said, you'd have a snappy comeback headed your way.

Watch your back, my brother-in-law is in Canterlot for a business meeting, I wouldn't want anything to happen to you ;).

Why don't I tell you now. Basically what you do is you press prt sc on your keyboard. Then open paint, and ctrl v, and bammo! You're done!

I expect immaturity, but not to this extent. Also, I wouldn't be expecting a kid to be using the words that some people use.

I agree. But every once in a while, some idi*t starts swereing in the chat, and it gets annoying. What I do, I go on the other team and use my phrase: "drug to kill"

I drug and kill him, he gets mad and leaves. :)

1. Whatever floats your boat m8

2. Well you could instead spend time researching the cure for cancer but I guess writing long rants works too.

I had the flag in highland... and my 'teammate' shoved me of the edge to kill me

and took the flag. :( I was pretty steamed.

In a stalemate, if people kill the flagholder and I get the flag I

return it to them when they respawn. I wish more people would do this.
