Btw Ford, please don't use profanity again, or I'll have to kick you from the co-leader position. Remember the requirements before posting.

Seeing as we're a home schoolers club, why don't we talk about home schooling?!

:O .GENIUS!

how do you guys get all your books and things, also how does home schooling work in America? Is it different to anywhere else?  Is it legal?

Lol I was waiting on someone to get back on-topic...

Well... the way my Mom did our books... she bought them online from eBay 90% of the time... but she did buy books from curriculum websites and such things as that.

In all honesty, I THINK homeschooling works the same everywhere; although there may be slight differences as far as the requirements go.

I actually never have heard of homeschooling being ILLEGAL... that'd actually be very ridiculous seeing as though more and more are turning to this system of education to protect their children from the nonsense that goes on in public schools... ESPECIALLY today.

Also I noticed a stream of language (censored of course) that doesn't need to be in here. May I ask that the authors of those posts hide them before you either receive a ban, or this thread gets closed? Thanks :)

We get most of our resources for free from a school. Ordinarily, you have to pay every year to keep the videos we use, but one school let us keep the videos without paying, because of my parents job. We've only payed a few hundred dollars for about thirty years worth of schooling  :). Overall, I'd say it's pretty good, the only downside is that they're all about 20 years old, and I have to make up for those 20 years in history class.
