There are quite a lot of different reasons depending on the individuals of course but to me, top reasons parents homeschool have consistently been a concern about the school environment, perhaps a desire to provide religious or moral instruction, and dissatisfaction with academics in other schools. An increasingly large number of families cite “other” reasons such as family unity or travel, and smaller percentages cite physical or mental health problems or other special needs. But this is my point of view only.

I was homeschooled because my dad worked in quite a few places, and a lot of the time we weren't that close to him so we travelled a lot, so it didn't really make sense for us to go to school because of that. Then when he started working from home and we settled down it was in the middle of nowhere, and the only school for kilometres around had an extremely bad reputation so we ust continued home schooling, and now I'm living in England most of the time with a host family so I can go to college there because my parents are no longer capabable of teaching all my subjects at this level.

not sure the main reason but my parents main reason was because of the crap my older siblings went through in public school, I think if things hadn't been like it was then I would be in PS now cause the school where we currently live is much better than back in Monroe
