I left the GAME 1 year ago

The fact that I play the occasional game and speak up now and then in the forum doesn't amount to being in " The Game"

I've given all the advice I can, has it all been in vain? Did I make a difference? It always seems Tanki only hears what they want to hear, and the rest is just white noise from "the whiners club" pointless in their opinion and unappreciated.

My heart and soul left the game with the dismal Christmas festivities last year and the intro of the XT rental, I never got that love of the game back and probably never will.

At this point every day is just like looking through old photo albums of a fun time I had in the past.

So though I'm not saying Good Bye, I am saying it was nice to reminisce with you again.

Till we meet again.

Long live the "Whiners Club"

There are no more christmas sales? Well we will see in two weeks

This is true, but that is the problem with free to play games, they try as hard as they can to keep the balance of the game  the same while keeping as many players spending as possible without losing interest, but that can't last for long, and that's why they are making a new version, eventually the popularity of the game will lag and it was lagging long before they said they were making a unity version. The reason why they don't take the player's opinion seriously is not because they are right, but because it would mean less money in their pockets and it wouldn't be the type of game that they want rather than what the players want.

Many communities don't even listen to their players, that's why they are either not popular anymore or they lost their originality

I can run this game much better than the doofus responsible for bringing up these updates, seriously

If you really want to make a difference, you have to find ways to really connect with the community. There are many ways to become renowned by the community, while some may be harder there are always alternatives.

If you have very good game skills. you can gain prestige by participating in esports, clans, and even regular games to make sure that everyone can see your skill. Having connections to other players of the same level will give you the chance to influence the community much more.

If you are a interested in making a better community, try helping others a bit. I've seen a quite a few players who became moderators or helpers due to their people skills.

One last way to make a difference, is to create a subcommunity of players, regular players who make up the very foundation of Tanki Online, and in numbers you can participate in forums to push for certain ideas or influences.

I wish you luck on making a difference if you choose to continue to be in TO.

That won't make much of a difference, developers establish administrators, admins establish other mods/administrators, they can't oppose an update they dislike because they lose trust. If we are telling the developers that an update will clearly be counterproductive and they won't amend it just because it 'works' for the game and for them financially, then there's really no point of trying anymore. Updates used to be tested more extensively before release, that doesn't happen anymore, and that's why i feel the game has lost its previous touch that brought me here in the first place

It's all about the money. After a while, people would realize that they have been fooled and not what they had expected of the game initially. Soon they will leave.

I feel that too many updates have butchered the game, and that TO is not a really a good game to play anymore.

I think his idea of making a whole community which is largely opposed to something or another is a great idea. You'd basically force the devs, admins and mods into a power play, which would cause the game likely to shut (due to players being scared off, mods being far stricter or other such reasons), or they would cause some real change in tanki, because it would be like a majority.

Obviously, it wouldn't work if people weren't hush hush about it, as if the devs found out about it, they'd probably ban the players permanently for trying to incite an 'overthrow' of power. The other problem with this, is that tanki is a business. So the devs wouldn't really care. They'd probably ignore those specific players. Again, because tanki is a business, this'd be hard to do...

That's racist.

That's racist.

Racism is one person makes fun of a specific race/culture/ethinicity in a harsh, rude way. Asking "r u asian" isn't racist at all, just asking if a person is a specific race.

Member of a Team, memeber of a clan, leader of a clan, captain of e sports team, skilled player, full garage less vulcan (noob gun), well known by most mods, admin, and devs, and along list of real posts

They don't call me Doc for nothing, what cave have you been hiding in???

Sub-communities are created by players when games die, not interested.

I am sad for you, you are the one that needs the luck.

I was one of the luckiest players in this game, so many great friends and fond memories. Top gun forever :)

It was a sarcastic that's racist. Sorry if it didn't come across that way. :(
