Also, why should we give respect to people who've been playing for around 15mins, when there are people like me (and higher ranks as well) who've been playing for more then 4 years (I've been playing 3.5, but still). I think that if they want respect, they should earn it by going up the ranks a bit. 

 

Also, I think that you shouldn't be rude to someone just because they're low rank. Noob calling is ok (because that's the best part of tanki :P ).

Chat mods were reintroduced to the game as consultants precisely so they could educate and inform low ranked players about the rules and the way to conduct on the public chat. We are focusing on EN servers in order to accomplish it, but as seen, we cannot be 24/7 on the chat nor we speak every language present in EN community in order to influence each and every player. Our impact is therefore limited, but with help of other players, who also spend part of their time in the game to help those with lower ranks, we're managing :)

In the same breath, I don't put down those who don't/can't buy. I would help them (upgrade, obtain a kit at rank, etc.) if I could, but they don't allow that.

Rank is just an icon beside your nickname. When it comes to respect, we all deserve it. Even if the other player started insulting you, you should always reply in a respective manner.

A generalissimo insulted me for my rank today in a Poly CP and kept on targeting me in-game and in chat. Why? Because I didn't heal him ONE TIME, because I was just about to die, trying to save myself. Dilsharox was there and saw the whole thing.

When I have been playing this game for four years and I go to En6 on my low acc and see just a load of absolute crud in the chat, people who can't turn their turret and people abusing me?! Stuff that. I'm gonna have a go at them. I tell people to follow the rules, and all I get back (in the low ranks) is either swearing or people telling me that I'm bullying them. And at that point, I just report, and they get banned.

Higher ranks deserve more respect and can treat lower ranks meanly, it is fine, as long as the lower rank noob starts the fight, the higher one cannot start and disrespect either

That's like saying people who gets As in science deserved to be treated better that people who got Cs, or people who have more money should be treated better. They should still be respected, and I'm sure you wouldn't disagree; but they are respected for different reasons.

When did I say I call every buyer noob.. just the skill-less ones.

And its up to my discretion to hate druggers or not. I hate the excessivly drugging lunkheads only though. Because I drug too.
